I've had the wink from my government sources he's about to announce his retirement. Are you happy for grinding this nice little old man down.

Actually the situation in the US is dramatic. Mr Biden is reaching his ultimate limits and is aware of that. On the other hand there is Mr Trump with his big ego and all his catastrophic intentions... The sad part of all this seems to me the weak side of democracy being rubbed in, because people have voted for these people.

This remembers me about what a village chief of a local African village said when a little more than one out of two people had voted for him: "51% are happy, but that's still 49% not happy at all. I must find a way to be a good leader for all...".

I sincerely know not the solution, but we can't afford such situations considering the far too many humans on earth. It's time for humanity to grow up mentally ! No offence meant mind.

Well you know, as I do, playing musical chairs with Prime Ministers always has an off tune to the audience. UK has just gone through this with an expected result with a landslide aganst Conservatinves.

We are well familiar with this pastime in Australia too. Kevin Rudd didn't get to serve his term before Labor decided he stank and kicked him to the back benches and put Julia Gillard in. They found she stank even worse, kicked her to the back bench and put Kevin Rudd back in. Landslide against Labor of course.

The US has been very late to this party game. How well do you think they will play musical Presidents? If they pull out all stops they could force Biden to resign the office elevating a woman to incumbent president.

I mean honestly I'd be ok with that. It's not about "grinding a nice little old man down" it's about wanting a presidential and party candidate that you feel will do a good job of representing you and running the nation, and that's not how most people, even of his own party, feel about the situation.

I'm sure he's a perfectly nice person, but so am I. Doesn't mean I'd vote for me to be in charge of the country. If this were to happen, I'd thank him for his service and wish him a lovely retirement.

Biden has moral flaws but Trump is ten thousand times worse than Trump. I want Trump to lose, if they replace him with a normal republican and not a killer then I would not care who wins. Like I said, I would vote for a dead pig if it was running against Trump.

I would rather he stay in the race. He may be leaving with a pile of money and guarantees that he, his son and wife be granted immunity if charged, which they won’t be if the Democrats win.

They have said here for a long time that Michelle Obama would eventually be the candidate at the Democrat convention. It seems that this could happen. Harris will need to stay on as she is on the ballots in 50 states, has the delegates and has access to the $127 million in donations. Barak Obama has been coordinating the Biden exit and likely been a string puller while Biden has diminished faculties but since the debate, the jig is up as they say. The debate was the earliest in our country’s history so it was intended to expose him.

These are dangerous times for our country. This is about more than Obama wanting to control the country. He has a reason, he wants to radically change this country. This could trigger real problems.

I've been saying they're going to get rid of Biden for 5 years, and now you're just saying your "government source" is telling you this? We didn't grind Biden down, Obama has been running the administration since before it began. Biden hasn't been competent or even aware of what's going on since before the 2020 election. And it was already in the news Thursday that Obama told Biden to step down, so your "government source" is doing a good job giving you information after it's been published.

Oh yeah, and before your "government source" tells you any more, they're getting rid of Kamala too, she's not going to be the nominee.

Honestly I feel that here in the USA we need age caps for holding office. I’m not necessarily saying forced retire at 65, but somewhere around 70, definitely no older than 75. Once someone is that age they are completely out of touch with how the majority of the population feels about key issues. Remember these are supposed to be “representatives” and they are supposed to work for us. We need fresh ideas and perspectives. I don’t think Biden or Trump should be running.
