I pay 29¢ every time I order something on Amazon. They don't tell me why, they just add this fee to everything I order. It doesn't go to Amazon, it goes to the government. And I'm already paying federal and state tax on the money I use to buy the item, and sales tax on the item, and a monthly fee to Amazon to be able to buy the item.

I pay $90 a month for my phone, but I pay an additional $27 in federal and state taxes and fees. They're itemized. There's 19 separate taxes and fees on my cell phone bill.

Then you look at Congress. Let's take AOC, for example, because we know she doesn't come from money. She wears a different top-of-the-line designer outfit every single day. And shoes that cost over $1,000 a pair. A different pair every day. And fine jewelry. And purses. And eyeglasses. She has a $130,000 car and a driver. Her apartment cost $2.4 million. Where is she getting all this money? And you know the meals are lavish, the hotels, the first-class flights, but not to her own district, only for her enjoyment. Look at Congress 50 years ago. They all wore off-the-rack outfits from Sears and JC Penney and Woolworth.

And the wasted money. Paying billions for illegal immigrants food and shelter and healthcare, when tens of millions of American citizens don't have these things. Useless pork projects just so someone will be reelected. Hundreds of millions to research of dance techniques of West New Guinea or umbrella design for Scandinavia, and paying farmers not to grow crops and sending foreign aid down a rathole where it never makes it to helping the people of whatever country it's going to.

So don't tell me it's an "honor" to pay 60%, 70%, 80% or more of our hard-earned money to taxes. Most of it is fraud and most of it is theft. And the money we need, for schools, for police, for roads, it's never there. "Because we don't have any money. We need to raise taxes!"
