What are the motives to pay for an OF subscription?

For those who have did or currently are doing it, can you give us some perspective on the idea of subscribing or pretty much committing a level of spending to 1 or few specific individuals?

Is it better than what’s available for free? Is it a special connection to the person you’re subscribed to? Are people actually missing out on content due to assumptions?

Literally any input is welcome, I find the psychology of this particular thing fascinating and I’m sure many would learn something.

I think in some ways, it’s similar to the appeal of wanting to be an online pay pig for a woman or couple, in that it allows you to correspond, and on some level, even have a relationship with a woman who is far, far out of your league. I don’t find this unusual at all.

I don't really know since I don't pay for any, but this is my best guess. Mainly loneliness. If it was just, bikini pics, nudie pics, or even sexually explicit content, they could get that free by the metric crap ton. What only fans offers that they can't get elsewhere is interaction with a female human, one that doesn't sneer at him for being lonely, needy, ugly, short, poor or just socially inept. Now they provide that for a fee, but some guys are willing to pay it if it makes them feel connected to someone.

Personally I think OF is a scam. But the main reason why guys pay for it is because it is the only way some of us can feel like we are with an attractive woman. Also loneliness combined with sexual feelings. I don't pay for OF, but for the reasons I described, I've been tempted.
