I have an account on a dating app called Upward. It is a dating app for religious singles, and far better than some of these other crappy dating apps I've tried out.
Currently, I have a decent number of likes on there. Not a ton, but enough. I'm curious as to who they are. I could get a subscription (you can choose between a few plans) and figure out who swiped on me, plus a few additional perks that would come with having a subscription on the app. I'm just not sure if it's worth it.
I'd especially appreciate feedback from others who use dating apps like these. Would it be a good idea to do a subscription on the app? Maybe a week long? Maybe a year long? Gimme your thoughts.
I don't use dating sites. Religion is known by behaviour and not by affiliation. I know sexual predators who visit churches and have leadership positions there. Two plotted to rape women in the fellowship. In one case, the victim was a friend and not me.
This is the first time I've ever heard anyone mention that app. So user base has got to be low. Not to mention the niche is already filled by Christian Mingle.
Also it's a pretty common tactic to say you have a ton of matches and offer to reveal them if you pay extra - most of the time those matches are from fake profiles and don't represent a real connection.
That being said, you won't truly know unless you buy into it - so go for it
