I think this whole thing is stupid! Clearly she was put in charge of the border, although I wasn't old enough to vote in the 2020 election, (my 18th birthday was in December), I certainly remember when Biden gave her the task of (this is memory) "finding the root causes of migration from the northern triangle nations, and working with Mexico to reduce the number of border crossings". Now I'm probably not exactly right on the quote, but we all know it was roughly something like that. However, there is no officials government title “Border Czar”, just like there is no official government title “Drug Czar”, Yet we all know there have been 11 drug czars in the US since 1989 (this one I looked up).

So while Kamala Harris was never officially the United States “Border Czar”, (as there is no office of “border czar”, she was absolutely put in charge of the border crisis by President Biden, something depress actually celebrated 3 1/2 years ago! So the fact that the press is now somehow trying to cover up what they once celebrated is a extremely disturbing, and was my personal wake up call that the media is not only lying to us, but is actively cheerleading for one particular party. (yet another reason, I cannot fucking stand partisan politics!).
