Not sure about colors, but I'd put some freaking creativity into the design. So, so many countries just SUCK at that. France, at a time when it was the cultural and military capital of Europe, in the throes of three different revolutions, went to war with almost the entire rest of Europe and STILL won, needed a new flag, a new symbol for its history and culture. So they decided to... take the Dutch flag and turn it sideways. Italy, reunified after fifteen centuries, stood as the home of the Roman empire, THE empire against which all others are judged (and that includes you, Byzantines!), and a place of power and culture that mushroom grows like France could only dream of. And they... stole the Mexican flag and removed the only interesting part. The problem is that Europe spent all its "flag coolness" points on Wales:

which is pretty cool, but it's just a dragon hanging out; it's not riding a motorcycle, playing a guitar in a thunderstorm, or having a lightsaber fight with the king of England. There's still room from improvement, is my point.
Asia has some clunkers, too, but they also have Kazakhstan:

and Nepal, which isn't even a rectangle:

Even India, which took the Irish flag, added something to it; some kind of sacred onion thingy. Well, if anywhere's going to understand the importance of venerating the food that nourishes and fuels you, it'd be India.
South America has Brazil- a star map is a cool idea, even if all it says is "we're in the SOUTHERN hemisphere!", and the Dutch Antilles is kinda cool, but then you have Chile's "knockoff Texas" approach, and Venezuela (look this up if you don't believe me) just stole Colombia's flag and added a frown of stars. I mean, what the hell?
That brings us to Africa, and the laziest country of all (in terms of flags): Chad. "We're just going to take the Romanian flag" "Oh, and it turn it, or make some tiny change?" "Nah". And the Ivory Coast stole the Irish flag and turned it upside down, which is why (well, PART of why) I refuse to give them their name in French. Come up with your own flag! Maybe work together with Wales and have an elephant fighting a dragon? Or playing a gong to the dragon's guitar? SOMETHING!
But African flags in general are FULL of color. Both the Sudans and South Africa are interestingly varied, and Namibia is simple but compelling. Eswantini and Kenya both have traditional shield and spear combos, which is neat, and there's something about Burundi that I just like. But I think that Seychelles is the best. It's like what you'd get if someone shot a Crayola gun into a prism.
And I'll give shout-outs to Saint Pierre and Miquelon, even though it's not technically a country, for having not one but TWO flags that clearly can't decide what they want to be, so one is FOUR flags, and the other is some fish and a duck STEALING the flag that's four flags. I KNOW there's an interesting story behind that.
that's a weird description. yeah, I wanna see tits. not gonna ask to though :/ I'll just ask my friends

Black, Black, and a little dash of Black on top
I don't think that I' ll need a flag.
Nor a national sing-along
or other dust covered rites and rituals.
Black and red...
Purple and grey just to be different
all black
@NathanDavis are you into the group, 'Black Flag' a buddy of mine used to be practically obsessed with that goddamn band,. I mean, they were alright, but just an early 80's San Francisco punk group. Henry Rollins is good.
@Billlewis I remember watching a repeat of Unsolved Mysteries a few years back about that group. I guess a member was shot in the back of the head while Henry was literally standing inches from him. Henry took off running through his friend's house while the gunman was shooting at him. I can't remember much about it, other than the gunman was never caught and they weren't sure if it was a robbery gone wrong or a paid assassin.
