I am lucky enough to be alaskan native that also took health insurance payments from met life I've earned over 10 years and payed health insurance
I slip crossing the road and my foot went backwards. My organization of health care providers help me free at the point of service. I had to fight tooth and nail with metlife. 10 years of sick pay took me half a year over bullshit and playing willfully ignorant. Till I had a lawyer and they shaped up and got me my earned money over a decade of working.
That was over payed leave. Not my broken ankle in the first place that was payed being alaskan native.
For profit health insurance only profit motivation is to kill people. My native corporation is investing in me being alive. Honestly how does anything work in the states?
Lets say it like this "I am happy to live in Europe"
While the British 'National Health Service' (NHS) is collapsing due to decades of underfunding, it is still better than the US healthcare system (and politicians want to introduce an American styled Insurance Healthcare system)
For us healthcare is still Free-at-the-Point-of-Delivery... So we do not get billed for every little medical treatment you may need.
Would I really feel a need to go 'private' it is possible... but why would I?
(Ok, Weed is legal in the UK if you can get it on Doctor's Prescription; this is neigh impossible on the NHS and thus you would have to go private to be able to obtain the prescription... it's of course extortionately expensive...)
For real the healthcare and doctors all suck in the US. I just found out some terrible news that a local doctor in my area has sexually assaulted multiple women yet is still working at 3 of the hospitals. It's really got me rethinking my birth plans😵💫
I don't live in America but I have heard you guys have horrible healthcare I hope you guys get better soon.
It's not fair to you Americans having bad healthcare but in Israel they have free & good healthcare I don't understand it

Absolutely! It sucks!
I pick the political party that actively pushes healthcare reform and fights against corporate greed more than the other that encourages monopolies / broken healthcare system. That’s all I can do.
With open borders, there’s no way we can afford universal healthcare. We just can’t take care of the entire planet. Not to mention that the entire world uses us like an ATM machine.
The US has some of the best health care in the world, if not THE best. So no I'm not disgusted by it.
During Covid there was a problem with the healthcare system and the quality of healthcare suffered. It has improved but it is still not what it was.
That's what happens when you have an overregulated industry.
Me it’s a huge struggle and I had a $12,000 hospital bill. back in March.
Yes- but do you have any better ideas?
Universal healthcare
We have universal healthcare; you just have to pay for it.
No, sir. Not in the US
What are we lacking here that's present elsewhere? And where?
