Free speech is important but it must never be total free speech. When your lies lead to innocent people being attacked, even killed then you bear as much responsibility as the killers. We've got riots in the UK people are getting hurt and property damaged because a free speech American news site made up a story. In another recent case free speech led to an innocent man having his teeth smashed with an iron bar.

A person should be able to live their lives without neighbours running a hate campaign against them on Facebook, you shouldn't have to tolerate being called a n** to your face because its free speech. I shouldn't have the right to encourage people to burn your house down.
