How does Kamala come up with an economic policy? ?

Up until recently the democrats had to take the opposite position to whatever President Trump was doing. Last week she copied President Trump's plan to eliminate taxes on tipped service workers. she has been widely ridiculed as a copycat.

Will she continue to "borrow" from Trump's pro business, pro worker. pro America policies or continue to embrace the Biden /Harris policies which is pro inflation, pro taxes and pro open borders. Is she just going to continue to flip flop and hope people do not remember what a disaster she was as a Vice President?

She better not copycat whatever conservative “pro worker” bullshit. One of the things the left has consistently done WAY better than the right is support UNIONS. Conservatives constantly have a tor**** of union busting legislation on the dockets because it’s almost universally more important to them to enrich the egregiously wealthy at the expense of the working class. The democrats are doing similarly with their own set of corporate interests, but they as yet haven’t started co-signing the union busting bills. If you are anti-union, then you are anti-worker, period. ESPECIALLY if you claim you want smaller government. Unions are the working class citizens’ BEST defense against corporate greed and dangerous working conditions. We could all but disband labor departments, OSHA, and a great deal of environmental regulation and just let unions do what we have ALWAYS done better than ANY comparable government entity.

I don’t think she has released any policies yet, has she? I know she told different audiences different positions of the SAME policy issue, but other than telling people she’s endorsing Trump’s policy on no taxation for tipped workers, when she was the tie breaking vote on the infrastructure bill that added 80k new IRS agents to go AFTER tipped workers and extract as much as possible from them. I don't think she’s articulated any of her own policies. But I could be wrong!

They didn't take the opposite opinion on the border bill that Trump tanked. The entire caucus supported it!!

I'm of the opinion it really doesn't matter who proposed it if it's good policy. In this instance many of the service workers want the standard minimum wage instead of the tipped wage. That's the policy that both should be pursuing.
