Given that it’s the president of a country, I don’t see anything wrong with it, in THAT context, given the history of war and violence in Chechnya, the second of those wars ended in (I believe) 2009. The President of the US is protected my an army of men carrying machine guns, I see no difference.

Machine guns have been illegal in the United States since the passage of the National Firearms Act in 1938. Private citizens can buy machine guns, but the tax stamp alone is over $5,000, and the weapons (in perfect working order) are well over $20,000 and up. The NFA was amended in 1984 making the manufacturing or importation of machine guns illegal after that date. Certainly mounting a fully automatic rifle or any type or kind of firearm on a truck would be illegal on any public road in the US.

I've seen two of these in my area at the same time. One even wanted to race one of my bikes. They look like cardboard boxes in person. Like something made by a first year college student. With all the illegal military age men being imported into many western countries to be garrisoned and trained for battle in sanctuary cities, it's kind of expected that you will see many different types of pickup trucks with machine guns mounted on the back soon enough. Using local auto manufactures to build up technicals for socialist attacks on the local citizenry is pretty much what they always do. A dead giveaway that bullets are about to start flying in your home town is when you see a bunch of new pick up trucks arrive in your city out of nowhere. Often they are Toyotas, but it all depends on what they can acquire when they go to war.
