I just paid $7.95 for only 2 items at the grocery store: a tube of Pillsbury orange rolls and a jar of store brand apple butter.

Inflation is obviously out of control. Yet, people want to vote for the same failed policies and corrupt leftist politicians. Why do people continue to allow themselves to be fucked with no lube and just take it?

Okay, so I cannot really assess the scale of inflation from the info You gave me, since I lack proper reference data. However, the main reason why people tend to agree on less-than-optimal conditions for their growth is due to the pandemic of irresponsibility and the deadly sin of sloth. As long as their survival is not exactly endangered, or if they are unaware of their survival being endangered, they just come to terms with any circumstances they are faced with just for the sake of not having to actively seek a solution for any problems these circumstances might result in. Especially if the circumstances in question allow them to relinquish any responsibilities - that's why they tend to vote for socialism and even outright communism. At some point, they are simply unable to do anything about their fate anymore, but it's usually preceded with a long period of them slowly giving away their freedom for apparent comfort. Once they reach that point, though, some might get so apathetic that they don't even care about their prolonged survival anymore.

Fascism? What the fuck you taking about? I just want normalcy. People are overworked and overtired. Homeownership is unobtainable. Everything right down to daily essentials are expensive. Illegal aliens and hood rats are flooding once-nice family communities in the droves. Healthcare is a nightmare and getting help for both mental and physical ailments is difficult to achieve. Yankees and Californians are relocating to my state in the masses to reap the benefits of no state income taxes because they voted for failed policies in their home states.
