“Going to far?” Can it? Then it wouldn’t be equality.

Gender equality is equal not special treatment.

There is no such things as true gender equality because men and women are different and will never be truly equal in some ways. In the US, we have nearly achieved the closest thing to gender equality that is possible. The only outstanding issues that need to be addressed are related to men's rights, not women's, and they relate to reproductive rights. Men don't even have the right to know they have a child. And in most states, women have the right, when they have conceived a child, to decide they don't want to be a parent. Men have no such right. That needs to change.
Trying to limit unfair/prejudice treatment, and promote fair/supportive treatment of all genders and sexes. Things like protecting women's right to abortion and opposing a mandatory draft for men would both be fighting for gender equality. (As would protecting trans men and women's rights in particular and opposing bans targeted at them because of their gender or sex.)
They are just taking one thing they dislike and making it extreme. Typical political game.

That is code for "give women everything and men nothing" - sort of like it is now.
what a completely psychological conundrum your graphic makes. i like it
There should be eqaul pay and equal opportunity. Hiring somebody by gender or race to fill a quota is not equality, it is INEQUALITY.
Something that has by & large already been achieved. Women need to get more motivated so the richest women in the world aren't the ones who divorce rich dudes.
Name me one law applied that is gender specific aside from selective service. Ill wait.
You morons think men can get pregnant, remember?
Treating both genders equally
Equality of opportunities, not equity of outcomes.
