I am a man of faith and I'm not voting for anyone. Why do Republicans think that faith and political ideas go hand in hand? They do not. God doesn't support any of our world politics or parties, and politicians who claim faith aren't getting any brownie points from God just because they say that.

Republicans are not aligning with Christian values. They're choosing what they think God is or who he's for, and picking the parts of the Bible they like. And use the Bible to push their political ideas. Gays are not the only ones who commit sexual sin, straight people do as well - myself included and I will admit it. Republican preachers are so firm on sexual sin yet so many of them get outted for their own.

Such 'God fearing' people have the most gun violence and poverty in their states, less education, and are still largely bigoted.

@Dongie I don't. Just because God said it wasn't time for him to die that day still does not mean he's meant to be prez. God could want Trump to still be alive for all manner of reasons. Maybe to change his life. Change his heart. Do some kind of spiritual good in NON-POLITICAL ways before he does die. Who knows? But it doesn't mean the man is a sanctified holy prince who is meant to ascend to the presidency.

And on a flip side he COULD be meant to get there, but not for his purposes but God's. If we look at the OT we saw occasions where God let bad men become leaders for GOD'S purpose, not theirs.
