What is he guilty of? I keep hearing people saying that he is a felon but what was the felony? The entire purpose of the trial was to determine what crime he was supposedly hiding behind the falsified business documents and that was a violation of the sixth amendment where the accused has the right "to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation."
That trial was not legitimate at all based on that alone.
The Taliban fighters thing was a part of a peace deal though I don't see anywhere in the Snopes article that the Afghan government was not involved. I love how they compared it to Biden exchanging a Russian arms dealer for a basketball player who broke the law in Russia and was facing prison, as if the two situations are anything alike.

It's not. Simple as. They took along classified binders as placeholders for any classified documents they found.
