So does everyone celebrate labor day or just the left?
In the USA are right wingers opposed to labor day?

I don't know of anyone in the US who associates Labor Day with politics in any way. For most of us, it's the last three-day weekend of the Summer, essentially just a work day off for government offices and banks. I don't think anyone truly celebrates it. I just searched for Labor Day celebrations near me and found only three: a 1960s-themed Labor Day party, a Labor Day tennis tournament, and a Labor Day prayer brunch. Nothing about labor unions, the work force, or anything related to labor.
I'm conservative but not right wing. More like moderate conservative.
I HATE unions with a passion. I don't hate Labor Day because I'm so used to it. But when I think about it, I don't like the idea behind it. That holiday came from a time when things were very different than they are now. So to me it's more of a historical holiday than a holiday with modern significance.
On the other hand, most people just like having a day off work. Same with some other holidays. Most people don't think of it as a celebration of unions or labor - or anything else for that matter. It's just a day off work.
It might be ironic that even though Labor Day is about labor, there are ZERO mandated holidays in the US. If a company gives people the day off, it's strictly voluntary. A lot of jobs don't get ANY paid holidays, and maybe no unpaid holidays either. I have spent a lot of time working those kind of jobs myself.
I live in a right to work state. I've never been part of a union, nor is there any real meaning behind labor day for me. It's like international sock day. As I understand it, it is a day when banks and government are closed. So it reinforces the notion in me that both banks and government are communist. That's about it. I definitely wouldn't celebrate the labor movement, capitalism is the reason for advancement of the American worker. Government regulation hurts the American worker as do many investment banks/asset managers. If I happen to have the day off, I often do some sort of work like mow the lawn or whatever.

Everyone enjoys Labor Day. It marks the end of summer for a lot of people here. The beginning of summer is Memorial Day here which is in late May.
Politics arenβt associated with Labor Day which is nice. It is often a beach day, BBQ and grilling hamburgers and hot dogs
Many Union bosses support Democrats and say the Union does. But many union workers state that they support Trump. Trump was always tight with unions in NYC as he worked with them on building his high rise buildings. A long time ago the cement unions went on strike in NYC and Trump was still able to get concrete which made the news as no one else could.
Everyone does except for the businesses that stay open. big stores, grocery, etc..
It's a holiday I don't get honestly. opposed, I hadn't thought about it.
Maybe we should have an exercise day, fasting day because americans are really fat and out of shape. That's better than cooking "hot dogs" and "ham burgers" and buns and fries... getting more fat.
ps it's the sugar and salt and junk that's making us fat, not cows and pigs dead bodies.
Labor day is celebrated by everyone in the US, regardless of your political beliefs. It's the unofficial end of summer, and a holiday, a day off from work. In many cases, it's the last picnic and barbecue day of the year.
Who knows in USA?
It's left wing utter bullshit in Communist run Australia 🦘 .
I'd suspect it's left in USA , I hope no one of merit supports this crp.
Americans celebrate Thanksgiving I don't really think they care what the celebration is about and just do it anyway.
It is another paid holiday backed by a three day weekend plus more for some people. Was just normal day with overtime pay for me! When I was still working.
I have NEVER met a SINGLE American who doesn't celebrate Labor Day.
They don't know or care. They see it as just another excuse to party and get wasted. Here it's more known for being the unofficial end of summer
You sound like a bigoted person with a political agenda, or you're just trying to troll one of the political parties.
American righties are vehemently opposed to ANYTHING which helps or acknowledges working-class folk.
I am against it. I am a Christian and I am against it, I am also against feminism and its derivatives.
True right wingers are adamantly opposed to anything that leads to more money for workers and less for bosses and owners.
Pretty much everybody. My work allowed us to work if we wanted snd my girlfriend has to because she works at a retirement community
It is communist. Their were riots (pullman) and bombings (haymarket a few years prior) that got it to become a holiday.
Yes- Right wingers are opposed to anything resembling sanity, 😂
Nobody is opposed to Labor Day.

Have no idea 😂
