Is it possible to live on mars or the moon or other planets long-term and still survive the same way like on earth?

As everything is in 2024, no it’s not possible. No planets have been shown to have sufficient water to sustain long term life without moving water there or building industrial plants to try and increase available water. Then there is food, no planets so far discovered have any life or breathable atmosphere, that means using space ships to move food from earth to whatever planet it is, hugely expensive. There would need to be a huge financial reason to establish a permanent base anywhere. I could imagine a space station closer to the asteroid belt for mining and then remote control rockets returning to earth or a base on the moon for processing before sending to earth, however it would need to be financially viable.

Nope. The living in Mars, the moon, or elsewhere in space will lead to people being incapable of living on Earth, without special assistance.

It's why astronauts cannot live in the space station for years on end. Even people working in deep sea stations cannot do so for very long.

Living in controlled environments for too long changes the blood, bone and gut chemistry in living organisms.

For example, did you know you have to eat your own shit in space? The bacteria in your gut cannot survive for long in space. So they have to breed the culture and put it specially in that astronauts food. If not, then that person will die of starvation as they will no longer be able to digest anything.

With the right resources and built living environments, anything is possible. We’re still very behind on that happening though.

As for the Moon or Mars, things will be different because the environments of those places require artificial support for Air to breathe.
