Why is sex work stigmatized and even illegal in more conservative parts of the world?

Sex workers deserve rights, and dignity. The clients of sex workers also deserve respect.

It's illegal almost everywhere. Even in left wing areas. Conservatives think the world would be better if men are forced to commit to women in order to have sex. As long as men can get sex anytime, they'll be much less likely to marry. Society relies on medium value men to marry low value women, and if that falls apart there will be an army of fat women that never get married and the native birth rates plummet even further.

It's not just conservatives that recognize this. The ruling class Dems know this too. That's why it's not legal in CA. They all know that population replacement has to happen slowly or society falls apart. It's happening too quickly right now and it's causing major issues. So we need the birth rates to hold a little bit better. Same reason Roe V Wade was overturned.

Agreed as to the sex workers but some of the clients are pretty creepy. Though I’m sure some of the clients are nice men (and a few women) who just want to feel close to somebody.

Conservative societies focus on morality and often see sex as an immoral act if it’s not specifically with one’s spouse in the effort to procreate.
