Self hate in the west?

Why do so many of my fellow westerners hate their own homelands. Its like they never see any of the good and magnify anything bad.

Such issue will arise when one registers this idea that countries are mainly formed thanks to an implicit pact. A pact between people made on a societal illusion that people belong to the same entity known as homeland. Without this revelation, without this questioning, then people can function as an obedient flock.

I don't mean that alone would necessarily imply hate, but this revelation is a lead, what's being processed inside us, the consequences, with this lead in mind are... Rather difficult to predict

Because of demoralization. Its caused many people to hate their nation in a unnatural state. This is exactly why the west is in such a bad state and is so close to collapsing as a whole.

I see plenty of good. However, what is bad right now is so bizarre and bad that it is almost beyond belief. We have never witnessed anything that comes close to comparing to the present political and social climate. It's not self-hate, it's self preservation at this point.

@Caroline91 if you know the history of far rightism and far leftism you will find out that the far right always comes to power as a counter reaction to how extreme the far left becomes. that is how the fascists got in power in Italy pre ww2.
