Should abortion laws be the choice of the people or the federal government?

I think it's possible to be both and ought to be both for several reasons. Federal because there are some instances wherein patients are not properly informed about the risks before making their decisions and people because of their unique circumstances. A person can get an abortion, yes, but there is risk to the health of the person that oftentimes isn't divulged readily to the public. The info. has to be dug-out of the gutters of the internet.

A girl/woman and her doctor but I would rather they start using birth control instead but they are too fricken lazy to get some and use it.

It should be state laws as it is now. Some states allow more. Some forbid more.

Abortion is no where mentioned in the 11 page federal Constitution and the 10th amendment means that power belongs to the people and their states.
