Look, these results don’t matter.
What I mean by that is President Harris / President Trump aren’t going to be the next leader of the Teamsters Union. You don’t know the motivations between those that chose to make their voice heard and those that didn’t for one. For two, Teamsters Union has made abundantly crystal clear completely transparent is they won’t be endorsing EITHER candidate. We don’t even know how many voted in this alleged mock election, only the result which is very misleading.

Bottom line, UAW (United Auto Workers) endorses Kamala Harris because the Democratic Party actually stood at the picket line which was the first time in history of our country a sitting US President (Biden) joined the strikers. While Trump showed up to a rally and pretended to be speaking at the UAW. Trump has promoted FIRING workers on strike on Elon Musk’s podcast via Twitter.

Trump had always talked down Unions and always wanted to bust Unions. It is important to note that your 5 day work week, $15 + an hour, your ability to strike, no child labor in your place of work, benefits, weekends, etc. is thanks to a Union member!

If you actually listen to both candidates, Harris is much more behind the working class, while The Don is with the rich goobers. The International Brotherhood of Teamsters, one of the most prominent and influential unions in the country, said Wednesday it will not endorse any presidential candidate this year -- a blow for both candidates.

Most of the country's largest unions, including the AFL-CIO and United Auto Workers union, endorsed President Joe Biden before he dropped out, and that support was reiterated for Harris after she took over as Democrats' nominee. The Teamsters, however, stayed out of the fray.

If you believe that, you need your head examined. Harris has a very long and documented history of screwing over the working class - and the most obvious example is by allowing 21 million illegal immigrants into the country over the last 3.5 years. Nothing comes anywhere close to the sodomy THAT is giving working Americans, especially those on the lower half of the scale.

Let's also remember that despite pretending to support the auto workers unions, Harris is endorsed by and heavily funded by the same auto companies that are moving American auto jobs to Mexico as quickly as they possibly can. American auto-workers have ALREADY lost nearly 200,000 jobs under Biden/Harris, and have closed 17 or 18 plants (and that's not counting another 110,000 jobs from various subcontractors who used to make those parts and assemble those units in America).

Harris can "support" the auto unions all she likes, but she's fully on-board with moving those jobs out of the country, so it's only lip service. Who cares what the hourly wage is, or the benefits package is, or the retirement package is, for a job that you don't have anymore because it left the country?

Open your eyes and SEE what's ACTUALLY going on and stop just digesting the talking points you are given.

She has supported legal immigration, especially for those who have specialties that are needed by American industries. She has supported laws that support better methods of blocking illegal immigration. And remember, illegal immigrants have flowed in under every recent president. And it is ridiculous to say that she is onboard with moving those jobs out of the country. She supports keeping those jobs in the US as do the unions that support her.

No. Trump had negotiated the "remain in Mexico" program - which follows International Law, by the way (people seeking asylum are required to request asylum to the FIRST non-involved country they encounter), and this alone kept the vast majority out of the country. Sure, people still crossed illegally, but in FAR smaller numbers because the main streams were not allowed into the country.

Biden threw out that policy his first day in office, and Harris was completely fine with that policy. She didn't even visit any of the major problem areas of the border DESPITE being literally put in charge of border policy. Under Biden/Harris, the number of illegal immigrants entering the country increased by more than 20 times, and Harris specifically helped fund programs to encourage people to come to the US and "seek asylum". She absolutely supported all of this. And anyone with a brain understands that all these people will need money, and they're going to take every entry-level job because they'll work for less - and THAT destroys the working class.

And, in case anyone hasn't figured it out, the whole purpose is to pack certain states with illegals to increase the number of representatives and electoral college votes - because those are based on the census and the census only counts bodies - it doesn't account for legal residency. Essentially, they're cheating the system at the expense of Americans - particularly the working class. Because THAT is how Harris "supports" the working class.

For the first time in recent history, Teamsters Union is not endorsing any candidate in 2024, despite their consistent and historical support for the Democrats. That's a disappointment for Harris and a plus for Trump, especially seeing that polls show a majority of Teamsters members prefer Trump.

This is most likely because Trump has shown consistent support for US industry while Harris has not.

That's irrelevant. They are voters, that's all. No different than the Fraternal Order of Police endorsing Trump and the United Autoworkers endorsing Harris. In the end, they are all individual voters and they don't vote as a block.

I do want to add that there are good reasons for these groups endorsing who they have.

The FOP (which is not a union) endorsed Trump because of his support of making overtime earnings be immune from income taxes. Cops would like that because they make a lot of overtime.

The Teamsters are split because Trump is not pro-labor. However, last year or two, there was a major rail strike and the Biden Administration helped end it. The Teamsters, being union guys, want a union to win in negotiation and not necessarily compromise. This is why the Teamster support in your graphic is split. It is not "overwhelmingly" for Trump.

The UAW supports Harris because, generally, Democrats are pro-labor; the GOP is the party of business.

@bluesparrow I disagree with that. That are standards in journalism and many organizations do adhere to those standards. So, facts are often correct from these organizations, but how they word things could be biased. And opinion pieces, of course, can be biased, but that's not news.
So, it's important to separate the two when evaluating news.

A good example is the NYT which does have a left bias and the WSJ which has a right bias.
I subscribe to both.
Generally, I ignore opinion pieces but not always because sometimes the opinion pieces are open letters from newsmakers like VIPs in government.
