How does your news organization ensure balanced and inclusive reporting on issues that affect both women and men equally?

I believe in capitalism as the best economic system ever created. That being said, the laws of supply and demand dictate that if something is supplied for free it's demand will be low because it is of low quality. Moreover, free journalism in particular, is really nothing more than confirmation of preconceived biases and YOU are the product as they gather data on you.

Subscription based or paid journalism is of much higher quality because the publisher would desire to put out a quality product so that it's consumers continue to consume it. If the consumers suspect that it is getting to be or is low quality they will not buy that product. Because it is high quality of the demand is higher.

As such, I subscribe to the Economist & the Atlantic - MOSTLY neutral, NYT & Washington Post as liberal sources & the Washington Times & the National Review as conservative sources. My wife says I'm not having any more subscriptions and she doubts if I have time to read them all anyway. 🤷‍♂️

They don't.

I work in a news organization myself for the past year now (Dawn News English for anyone wondering. You can look it up on YouTube) and any news related to men, local or international, is completely ignored and swiped under the rug. While news related to women is always given first priority.

It doesn't really govern it. It only gives options to do things yourself for inclusitivity.

We do have a so called social corperate governance codex, which in technicallity works but it only works out problems, not when something is missing or not represented. It only works against things getting surpressed.

That being said, you can only write about existing issues, so of course it will never be equally represented, as long as what you report about, isn't inclusive.
