They don’t, not in the US, at least. The most popular news stations are heavily biased and privatized, sensationalizing stories as they try to keep viewers watching by appealing to that paranoid need to stay informed. I believe NPR is one of the exceptions as it is a public radio station, but you hear complaints of it being somewhat biased and liberal (they’re just using critical thinking skills and when you do that honestly, voting republican for anything other than financial reasons holds ethics issues). But outside of the US, everything is run through with a censorship department before an article goes live, ensuring the facts they have are legitimate and personal opinions of the news casters and writers aren’t mentioned. They can talk about other opinions as they’re relevant but never their own.

Most can't. Most people will simply sing the praises of a news network because they just say what they want to hear. If you check fact checking sites, you will know who I am talking about. Some are so far right or so far left, it is bordering on satirical.

They can stop lying, they can present honest arguments instead of trying to dumb down their viewers (both sides do this on purpose), they can refuse government funding and instructions, they can return to the original Fairness Doctrine and Smith-Mundt principles and finally they can abandon ideology-based reporting.

There is no such thing as "unbiased reporting," only "factual or non-factual news".

News channels have bills to pay like any other sector. So they will do nothing that will harm their sponsors, stakeholders and advertisers. They will not stay in business if they did.

Unfortunately, that includes the large corporations who own them in the US. You're right that bias, as long as it's admitted ("Fair and Balanced"?), isn't as bad as the outright lies that come from some quarters.

As a former entertainment news writer, I’d stick to known facts and direct quotes. Then frame onions like “some says, while others say y.” But angry fans and foes alike would still accuse of biases no matter what.

The answer is that they cannot because unbiased reporting is doesn't have a perspective. It is about reporting the facts wherever they may lead without perspective or agenda. Perspective is opinion which by definition is an intentionally biased interpretation of the facts.

By simply not caring about “providing diverse perspectives” and just report the news. People watch their favorite youtubers and alternative media now if they want a more in depth information on a current event or topic.

I don't think they want to. They believe that they have a higher purpose and a calling. Some also think that they need to steer the uneducated masses and that they have intellectual superiority. We live in a world of propaganda. I accept that and search for the truth. Most people are drinking all flavors of kool aid.

In myo opinion, it's virtually impossible to for decades now, and in only 30, yet I realised by my 20s how and even more so now in terms of just current trends, it seems all networks have "an angle"

Focus on facts and spend less time on opinions. Start by asking what questions should be answered and how changing facts would change conclusions (that is, what would falsify a claim).
