Banned such add... for using deep fake. Here it is. For once, at least, I agree with Governor Newsome on something.

We have enough problems... we can't have videos edited to this level. Ya really don't have to look at anything more than what really happened to make your decision.

If we allow deep fakes... then the signficance to the passage of time is going to be... a human mess. We got big problems ahead folks, if we allow junk like this to influence us... and run free in society.

The only thing good about what Elon posted, is it demonstrates how awful our reality is going to be if we allow these videos.

Well look, Deep Fakes are hard to tell…. People believed the eating cats & dogs thing based on a rumor of on actual Trump & Vance supporter’s account claiming “Haitian Immigrants ate the friend’s cat” who said the cat in question ‘Miss Sassy’ was just hiding in the basement. This story has since been debunked yet hasn’t stopped Trump & Vance from VOWING TO DEPORT HAITIANS FROM OHIO!

The fact is, if we can’t determine truth from false in this country based on real flesh & blood then I can’t trust the general public to be smart enough to distinguish between fake digital AI BS. Once we hit the digital space that can make 99.9% realistic videos generated by AI scripts… That is a nightmare scenario. Deep Fakes are only going to get better. I remember this one account of this awful mother after their daughter didn’t make the cheer squad, deep faked the cheerleaders into revenge porn… That was from a few years ago, so what you have are AI & manipulation tactics that can interfere in an important election not just ruin a local community. There needs to be regulations, punishment, and studying the technology in order to push back! Deep Fake videos without someone’s consent should also be at play so, they can get legal compensation for having their image used unlawfully too.

Well the good news is trump sticks to what he says, nothing to deep fake there. Granted, it may be extreme, but that is what got attention to what are real problems... probably festering for some time. Haitians are violating laws and causing traffic accidents... and seriously doubt they have sufficient insurance, wonder if they have drivers licenses and registration... but definitely causing such issues. There are police calls showing they were slaughtering geese. They are violating laws, and not assimilating. It is impacting the community including schools. I don't care for lying on cats/dogs, we don't know the facts.
Agree, if cannot determine true and false, then we have problems. dogs/cats are not relevant... that is an emotional driver and law. But they are violating laws.
If you listen to the community at large, they are mostly very reasonable and tolerant.

This is SO easy!! Revoke section 230 of the Telecommunications Act so that social media companies AND posters become liable for the content on their sites. It will clear out every bot, boost the liability part of insurance companies through the roof in premiums that no one WOULD DARE post unverified info.

We have all weather in different parts..
If you go up north in Kashmir it's always Cold in mountain ranges.
In Coastal area it's always Hot..
In central India (my location) March to September is Hot, July to September Rains like warm Rain, September to March Cool weather Never snows
