Do you believe there is such thing as born in the wrong body?

Transgender people say they were born in the wrong body but I have heard other people (most likely not trans I’m guessing ) say there is no such thing as “born in the wrong body.”

Nope. Not really. But we could perhaps do them the favor of beliving they should hsve been born in the body of a stillborn baby? That way they don’t take the body of anyone living. Going by their logic, their body is not the correct one, so there should in theory be a right one. But we don’t want them to take the body of anyone who is already happy and content with their body.

I'm trans and I've never heard another trans person say that irl. I have heard someone use it as a metaphor, but not literally. I don't think I'm born in the wrong body I just think my body didn't develop right for whatever reason.

Yes. If someone tells me that they were born in the wrong body, I believe them.

I think it may be true. But something else that's definitely a thing: mental illness.

And which of those two things, do you think is more common?

Nope. I think some people are just traumatized early on and don't even realize it.
