Can Trump win New York State or New Jersey?

It’s no secret that New York and New Jersey have gone downhill since the pandemic. It’s worse than the what the media says in my opinion. A lot of corruption from Eric Adams and Kathy Hochul.

It's no secret that you know very little about New York and New Jersey.

No, Trump will not win New York or New Jersey.

Why?

Because the people of NY and NJ who have spent last 51 years (or, for those younger, their entire lives) knowing what a profound asshole Trump is.

I quote a buddy of mine who, like me, is a native NYer but lives elsewhere:

As a native New Yorker, I've noticed that Donald Trump doesn't poll well in New York State or City, even though in recent years Republicans have been elected Governor, Mayor, and Senator. Why? It's because people there have known him for decades, beginning when he and his father were found to be racially discriminating in housing. We always knew him as a vile, corrupt, buffoon. Of course, since his loss in the 2020 election, he is now a vile, corrupt, traitor.

The sad thing is that most Americans are just beginning to realize what we've all known for decades. The saddest thing though is the MAGA ilk who are the incarnation of this quote from famous late, great astronomer Carl Sagan:

Unlikely. Its more expensive to sustain the misinformation bubble required to create a trump supporter in a large city, compared to more rural areas. And the whole reason the misinformers are doing any of this is because they want to keep all the money.
