That claim is misogynistic because it claims that taken men are superior to their spouses lol.

Who the high value women date then? Are high value men superior to high value women? Or high value women are single since they can't date up. Lol

And why would a high value man need a pussy more than a high value woman would need a penis.

And if men have to be good looking, confident, smart, funny and financially stable why the hell he would want to date down? What is the point of dating a woman who has nothing to offer but her body which is lower than average looking? I mean he has so many good traits but lower standards. Does he not know his own worth? Why would a man that has so many advantages want to interact with a pussy not just wait only for a high value woman.

It could certainly be a misogynistic statement. The wording is inaccurate either way. If it's referring to the term hypergamy, even in the colloquial sense of the word, then that's actually "equal or higher" not merely "up" and it's not always. Culture can influence people to date a certain way, hypergamous or not. I think modern culture overall is influenced heavily by the advertising industry and a celebrity worshipping Hollywood culture (for people's respective countries). It even influences many if not all religious circles.

But to be fair, if one operates based on the high value/low value world view willingly, then it should be understood that there are levels even among high value people. Just from the standpoint of money, a billion is on a much higher level than many multi-millionaires. Just because both are high value, it doesn't that they're equal, or in other words, that no one is being hypergamous or even that no one is "dating up".

I tend to believe in using rating as a tool to determine where people are and determine a path forward together based on that rather than to use it to group people into high or low value. I think the magic of people is that they can transcend what would otherwise be barriers. For example, people used to only marry within their tribes or surrounding environment, but now people commonly marry outside of that and have newer ways to appreciate on another.

So if a woman dated a guy who earns less than she does is she a misandristic, chauvinistic sow?

The reality is that women have dated "up" for as long as there have been women. You look at billionaires and the number of women worth that much without having got it through divorce or inheritance is about 10% of the total. Men tend to work longer hours, more dangerous jobs and more likely to move or travel for work. As a result, men command a higher income - not hourly, but gross total due to hours worked - so although she may be perceived as dating "up", when they may have met at work where they were on the same hourly rate.

So the idea that men date "down" becomes misandristic in it's suggestion that men are required to "bring something to the table" beyond a strong moral character.

“ Misogynistic“ does not relate on the contents of the questions that follows. Misogyny defines hatred of prejudice against women.

If your definition of VALUE is by financial status, fame, career or etc.. I understand.

Though, in my less fucked up world, everything and everyone has a VALUE. I believe,
Men settle down for the qualities of a woman. Women who stays single chooses that way because that is where their happiness lies.

The constant pursuit of more things will only lead to a brainwashed society with no values and no real purpose to evolve. Don’t you think?

Men are the ones who date up. Go outside and look at most couples. You'll notice the woman is usually the hotter one in 9/10 of the couples. I don't know why people think women date up cuz that's def a myth

It is not misogynistic. It is a rational, common sense observation as to the dating/mating behaviors and strategies of most women. Men don't follow what women say... they follow what women do. Exceptions don't break rules. Exceptions are exceptions to rules. Don't spout your exception and think you've debunked a biological rule.

You're conflating terms here. Unclear if you're doing it deliberately or not. The term "date up" is commonly meant to refer to economic status. The term "high value" is commonly meant to refer to individuals that are highly preferred by members of the other sex. As an example, you might say that a "high value" person is one who is viewed as being in the top 5% of most desirable mates of people of the opposite sex.

Not all women are hypergamous, but many are. It is definitely a natural component of female dating strategy and has been since the dawn of time.
