Ultimately, it will require the use of nuclear weapons to defeat Russia. Realistically, the U. S. cannot win a conventional war with Russia. To win would require a massive movement of troops and equipment. And, there are only two ways—ships or cargo planes. There are only two types of ships: submarines and targets and Russian submarines are mostly undetectable. Our fighter planes and bombers may make it to Russia but cargo planes would be shot down.

U. S. and NATO rulers are insane. Putin is the only adult in the room but there is a limit to how far he can be pushed. Since Russia is winning in Ukraine, it is not unlikely that the U. S. will approve missiles striking into Russia. Since, Ukraine does not have that ability; it is war between the U. S. and Russia. In a tit for tat, Russia will strike the U. S. with hyper-sonic missiles that cannot be shot down. At the same time, Russia will load their bombers with nuclear cruise missiles and keep them flying 24/7. Add to that 1,000 ICBM on hair trigger alert, and then nuclear subs with 800 nukes on both U. S. coasts.

As soon as the U. S. goes crazy over missiles hitting the U. S., they will explode a nuclear bomb on Russia. Then Russia having nothing to lose by extending the war will explode 2,000 nukes on the U. S. and almost 300 million Americans will die.

Nothing because it's a huge mistake to try and overthrow Putin, it will only make things worse, either someone worse than Putin takes power or Russia will be fractured into a bunch of smaller territories, which is extremely dangerous with nuclear weapons involved. We should not be going around the world overthrowing dictators he hate, it only makes things worse for us and those countries, just look at Libya, we backed a coup to overthrow Gaddafi, and now African's are being sold in Libyan slave markets. Sometimes you have to get along with people you hate because the alternative is much worse. This Ukraine proxy war was never about helping Ukraine defeat Russia, it was always about enriching defense contractors and other Western corporations while inflicting damage to Russia at the expense of innocent Ukrainian's dying. The money we're giving Ukraine? It's not free hand outs, it's loans with stipulations that if they aren't paid back, Ukraine must put government assets up for sale, and that's what's happening, western corporations are buying up Ukrainian assets. We're sending innocent Ukrainian's off to be slaughtered protecting land and other assets many don't know is being bought up by western corporations. We have done nothing to try and end the war, only keep it going because peace isn't profitable. There was a 2022 peace deal mediated by Turkey and Israel that would have ended the war in exchange for Ukraine remaining neutral, but we sent Boris Johnson to sabotage it and talked Ukraine into continuing fighting because there's too much money to be made. I want to be clear, it was illegal for Russia to invade and they shouldn't have, but the US and NATO isn't innocent in all of this, we've been provoking this war since the 90s by expanding NATO to the east on Russia's border, with the 2013 coup d'etat in Ukraine being the dipping. Russia doesn't want US/NATO weapons on it's border anymore then we didn't want Soviet missiles in Cuba. In the end I just want the war to end so Ukrainian's aren't dying so defense contractors and other western corporations get their paycheck.

Money and such is just material things, it does not really matter to me as long as it progresses humanity towards a direction that I agree with. That said, I am not supporting Ukraine because I am willing to sacrifice. I am supporting Ukraine because I am willing to profit from it.

Ukraine is a HUGE opportunity for the western world to both destroy Russia as a major power and also to improve our own economy and standing. Even if we can't flip Russia, which is actually a realistic opportunity as well, Ukraine by itself is a huge reward. It is a large country full of natural resources and food production. It also has a large population of over 40 million that is hard working and willing to work for cheap wages due to its weak economy.

Furthermore it has massive potential for industry and a large population of specialists and engineers from its day in the Soviet Union where Ukraine was designed to be a hub of manufacturing and designing.

Getting Ukraine in our pocket by helping them win this war is like picking up a future genius at an orphanage. It is an opportunity that is virtually too good to be true.

And besides, the things Ukraine needs to win the war is things the west has already discarded. Things like the Bradleys or ATACMS were obsolete equipment slated for disposal. Having these old equipment being disposed in Russias face without the loss of American or western lives is quite frankly just too good to be true.

As for the war itself? Russia has already lost. Ukraine is the defender, the job of the defender is to continue existing. Ukraine still exists and Russia shows no sign of achieving its victory in the next few years. Russia also does not have any more time. They have already mostly depleted its storage of old soviet equipment which means they are running out of tanks, artillery and ammunition. A Russian army without these things is just a starving militia that has no combat power.

Also worth noting that Russia has failed to prove their nukes actually works. The last 4 or so test launches of their newest rockets has failed to launch and their nuclear weapons division does not have enough funding to maintain the Uranium in their nukes. Realistically speaking their nuclear arsenal does no longer exist.

I want to leave you with the latest news though. Ukraine has recently struck a few major ammunition hubs inside Russia. Why does this matter? Because Russia needs to concentrate its supply lines to supply their front lines as they do not have enough roads or trucks to do it any other way than train. As a result they have to build these massive and obvious ammo dumps that are easy targets and if Ukraine keeps hitting them then Russia will be unable to attack in the future.

Simply put, Russia has lost. Its over. The only thing left to do is make Ukraine win and we can all cash in on the rewards.

I don't know what fools you are talking about, but the Patriot systems shot down Russia's supersonic missiles without any problem. I also asked on this site what the world thinks about Russian propaganda and how Russia is flexing its muscles, visibly because of hunger and poverty.
Russian technology is so weak that it is not even self-sustainable, needing Western components to be able to support its army.
Russia is not winning in Ukraine in the current situation. Russia expected to conquer Kiev in 3 days and at the beginning of the campaign Russia was at the gates of Kiev. Today, almost 3 years after the invasion, Ukraine has recovered the territories in the north and north-east of the country, even invading Russia and they even successfully blew up the capital Moscow.
Ukraine is in a tense situation, but Russia's victory is definitely a utopia and a propaganda.
Nothing that Russia declares is credible, and the nuclear threat is as real as Putin and his gang want it to be.

Also, NATO's military budget eats up Russia and its allies, only the USA owning the largest military budget in the world with approximately 800 billion dollars, while the second largest military budget is China's with approximately 200 billion dollars.

1) America could win a conventional war against Russia, not that we should be fighting one another, but America has the advantage by leaps and bounds.

2) America has air and sea superiority and a footing in Europe were as Russia has no real launch point in the Americas. The American military is mobile by design and can reach out and touch other countries anywhere any time. It's a basic necessity when you are surrounded by oceans. Russia in contrast is mainly a land power designed to defend vast areas of wilderness from land invasions due to their geographic location. Occupying either Russia or the USA would be next to impossible for any world military. That clearly would not be an objective of either military in the event that the two powers collided.

3) Hyper-sonic missiles can be shot down. America only shows off our old military technology because the rest of the world is so far behind. You don't even know what you don't know.

4) If America was to nuke a country it wouldn't be firing just one missile. Mutual Assured Destruction (MAD) is well understood. If it goes nuclear America would nuke pretty much everything of use in Russia and all of it's allies. So for your sake pray that cooler heads prevail. That said, nukes aren't the worst thing that could happen if America was pushed to the brink. Like I said, there are many things you have not even imagined yet just like the Japanese didn't anticipate getting nuked in WWII.

It doesn't require nukes to beat Russia. It just requires a concerted effort, which is not what's been done so far. The only thing they have done so far is prolong the war and get a lot of people killed, and turn the land into a wasteland.

What they needed to do right from the start was to decide if they really wanted to kick Russia out of Ukraine. They either needed to play to win, or not play at all. So far they have been playing, but not playing to win.

If they wanted to play to win, they needed to go in with devastating power, but not nukes. They needed to bring in serious fire power. Granted, early on, people thought Russia would capitulate. Now it's obvious that they mean to stay. So the west needs to decide.

When this started, I said that Ukraine would be made a sacrificial lamb. The west would not be willing to do what was needed to win against Russia. I still think that's true. The west isn't playing to win. They are only killing lots of people. Do it, or get the hell out.

When the war started, Trump offered to fly over on his own dime and negotiate a peace deal. Joe Biden, and all his followers were totally against the idea. Their worst nightmare would be that Trump would be successful and end the war. They just couldn’t have that. But it’s more than giving Trump credit for ending the war, the Democrats don’t want the war to end. They don’t care how many people are dying, they just need to do their part in this money laundering scheme. Even Zelenskyy admitted that people in his country were embezzling the money for their own private use.

If you believe Putin is the only adult in the room, you need a padded cell. Putin had been encroaching on neighbors, including Ukraine, for a long time. He tried to overtake the sovereign nation of Ukraine and thought it would take a couple of days. You see how that worked out. Trump says he could end the war immediately. He has made it clear he would just help his bro Putin overtakes Ukraine.

As for nuclear war, both sides have submarines with that capability. USA has had better naval equipment all along, and Russia has had to have repair ships in any area they are fighting in to take care of their breakdowns, as well as hits by other countries.

Afghanistan did not have nuclear weapons either when they threw the Soviet Union out of their country. It's all about driving the occupier's price up so high that they realize it's better for them to leave. Ukraine is precisely doing that. It's a war of attrition and by most metric Russia will lose its materiel first, as can be directly observed by the depletion of their depots.
