Should Ukraine surrender to Russia?

It seems to me that they should.
Russias population and military is far larger then that of Ukraine.

I think 100,000s or 1,000,000s could be spared if they surrender.
Then then could maybe negotiate to give up their eastern provinces in exchange for Russian withdrawal from the rest of the country.

I find it foolish that the government is giving guns to young boys, old men, and women to fight tanks and experienced Russian soldiers.
The Russian will kill most of those people, it will make Russians think all civilians are potentially targets, and it would only delay the inevitable.

Remember in 2014, when despite having an enormous advantage in manpower and resources and already being present thanks to intergovernmental agreements, the Russians STILL resorting to Geneva Convention-violating uniform switches in their invasion of Ukraine? The Ukrainians do. I'm not sure why you have no problem with them sending their *young* *men* out to die, but object to old men and women doing the same; their lives are not inherently worth more, and you don't need to be in ideal shape to fire a gun accurately.

Perhaps more to the point, many of the older folks remember gaining their independence from Russia- 91 wasn't THAT long ago. They know what the Russians were capable of, and Putin's actions suggest that not much has changed.

There is a lot of mixed opinions on this but a surrender will make it harder for Ukraine in the future and so will carrying out this battle any longer now. Ukraine has attempted to reach out to many and nobody can truly help which makes the battle a loss before it can even begin. Sanctions are not going to do anything. Its like a kid who knows the punishment and the consequences for their actions does it anyways gets hit with a grounding/ detention but carriers on anyways right after. When people are set on doing something that someone being Russia then there really is no stop. But then again you never know. Afgans never surrendered when they were invaded and look how history played out. The will to fight for a cause can play out in so many ways.

Your points are true but it's extremely difficult to tell a people to give up their nation, history and culture and freedoms.

The pain and regret is too great to do such a act. Better off dead than to surrender to your enemy.
