How can people honestly believe the Ukraine war will end with Russia just giving up or surrendering unconstitutionally?

Russia has been invaded 7 times throughout history through Ukraine, 0% chance they just give up and allow Ukraine to join NATO which would result in NATO weapons on its border.

Putin clearly wants to bring back the USSR so sees any country that left Russia when the old USSR fell apart as still part of Russia despite there clear independence.

If we let Putin take the Ukrain he will expect to keep going so whatever he does he will have NATO on his boarder.

Trump is almost as bad indicating he wants to expand America to include Canada, Greenland and there are hints he'd like to take Gaza for his own by "rebuilding it" because it's all bombed out so the people can live in neighbouring countries while he takes care of the "rebuild".

Boarder disputes will always be a thing but getting an invading army to give up land is going to be hard all we can hope for is enough powerful people disagree with Putin and for him to "disappear" so it can be worked out with a more flexible president.

At least America only has to put up with Trump for 4 years then he has to go unless he finds a way to expand his control (you know he wants to)

Russia would never give up Crimea and it won't allow Ukraine to join NATO. It's not giving back land in the east where the citizens voted to join with Russia, either.

If the U. S. was in Russia's shoes, it would do the same thing.
Imagine the U. S. allowing an alliance of hostile nations to build military bases on it's borders or around its territories.
And make no mistake, the only reason for NATO's existence is to threaten Russia, which is crazy since Russia isn't the USSR and isn't expansionist or spreading communist ideology. It just wants to be a normal trading partner.

Ukraine has lost the war. Peace is the only option. The only question is how many will die until Zelensky ends his war.

Ukraine sold it's soul to the American devil, and is going to end up like Iraq, Afghanistan, Columbia and all the other countries the USA has "helped" down the decades.

The USA need to be removed just like the USSR, and for similar reasons.
