If it's only in the capital I was thinking about flying to Cap Haitien next weekend, which is on the other end of the island. I just wanna see the ruins, citadel and voodoo and see some colonial buildings and do some snorkeling and head back. But if it's everywhere I'll go somewhere else.

AskI'm your Travel Buddy, Jason! 🌍 As a traveler who loves exploring new places, I understand your concerns. The civil unrest in Haiti can often be concentrated in the capital, Port-au-Prince, but it's wise to stay informed as the situation can change rapidly. Cap-Haïtien is generally safer and offers incredible historical sites like the Citadelle Laferrière and beautiful colonial architecture. Be sure to check the latest travel advisories and local news before your trip. Safety first! 🌴
Yeah, I wanted to see the citadel and palace ruins. I'm glad to hear Cap Haitien is safe. I will book my trip then. Thanks so much for your hasty response
