Tim Walz did not lie about his rank in the military. Moving into top positions is not a binary black and white event, you transition into them over a longer time period, especially in the National Guard. I don't have the time to explain it in detail, ask someone with a senior role in the service.

Tim Walz had a role as university lecturer in China, no? So traveling there for that and following events/engagements simply was part of his job. What else would it mean? Was he smuggling Fentanyl into the United States, maybe?
