World-wide I can believe it. The majority of nationalities on the planet are quite sexist and misogynistic. There are only a few exceptions
Basically all cultures everywhere in history with few exceptions were sexist and misogynistic, not just the current ones. @KostasKouvalis The 'modern' culture is in a very unusual and thus far demographically unsustainable place in treating women like men.
This will probably collapse within a hundred years or so and we will return to the misogynistic pattern which has been the norm in human history.
Even women are biased against women?
Explains why we haven't had a female president. 🤣

Simple, how can gender equality be achieved when only half the population is invited to the table.
“In 1995, Hilary Clinton made a famous speech in Beijing about women’s rights. Sadly many of the things she wanted to change are still a reality today.
But what stood out for me the most was that only 30 per cent of her audience were male. How can we affect change in the world when only half of it is invited or feel welcome to participate in the conversation?
Men—I would like to take this opportunity to extend your formal invitation. Gender equality is your issue too.
Because to date, I’ve seen my father’s role as a parent being valued less by society despite my needing his presence as a child as much as my mother’s.
I’ve seen young men suffering from mental illness unable to ask for help for fear it would make them look less “macho”—in fact in the UK suicide is the biggest killer of men between 20-49 years of age; eclipsing road accidents, cancer and coronary heart disease. I’ve seen men made fragile and insecure by a distorted sense of what constitutes male success. Men don’t have the benefits of equality either.
We don’t often talk about men being imprisoned by gender stereotypes but I can see that that they are and that when they are free, things will change for women as a natural consequence.
If men don’t have to be aggressive in order to be accepted women won’t feel compelled to be submissive. If men don’t have to control, women won’t have to be controlled.
Both men and women should feel free to be sensitive. Both men and women should feel free to be strong… It is time that we all perceive gender on a spectrum not as two opposing sets of ideals.
If we stop defining each other by what we are not and start defining ourselves by what we are—we can all be freer and this is what HeForShe is about. It’s about freedom.”

I tend to think so. Meritocracy is inherently respected and the whole gender equity is against merit and for equal outcomes instead and is consequently despised by both men and women.
Overall I think the results reflect that merit vs equity divide.
As it stands the demands for equity denigrate women. It makes it easy to think women who have got somewhere have merely been given gender equity. That is unfortunate.
It would be a lot better if they campaigned for merit instead equity.
No, No justification. And please note in that study - "Around 39% of people in the US, which is yet to have a female president, thought men made better leaders. If only 39% felt that way, then over half seem to believe that women made better leaders.
Logically one doesn't follow the other. Logically it could just as well mean 0% believe women make better leaders. Neither is correct. All we know is 39% think men make better leader. The remaining 61% is composed of those that (`1) have no opinion, (2) believe men and women are equally capable, and (3) believe women make better leaders.
I love women I find them to be very beautiful very smart very intelligent very confident
So I don't even care about that kind of stuff what I care about though
Is I have watched women start at the bottom of a business and work their way to the top without making Waves they just do it because that's who they are they don't have themselves on the back they don't say look at me they just do it
And I think the reason why women get such a bad rap is because there are so many women out there that just keep talking and talking and making waves and they make it worse for women that are trying to get up the ladder the right way quietly and they go to ladder fast when they're quiet and just do what they do because they prove themselves faster without all the drama that goes along with it
I just result of polarization. Elites don't want a social conflict between 99% of poor against 1% of rich that's why their propaganda machinery alias mainstream media polarizes in any other direction. One of those directions is building up hostility between men and women. Femininazis, incels, alphas, thots... etc. Who do you think popularizes and introduces such new speech terms?
I read the article. This is not western country only statistics. It’s world wide. So of course that’s going to skew results.
Good point. I admit I scanned your title and quickly clicked on the link.
But there is a point to be made how different cultures view treatment of women. I just don’t like how some feminists (not you) would see the statistic about 33% of men thinking it’s okay to hit a woman (also what about if a woman hits the man first?)
And those women would run with it like domestic violence against women is a widespread problem in the USA. Not to say it still happens but in 2024 it’s a general hell no.
It depends on how the woman hits the man. Usually, it is frustration. Their hand is near head high and they swing their hand down from their elbow with their upper arm not moving. That hardly hurts and doesn't justify a man hitting back. Now if they swing their arm from the side with a hard slap to the face, if they throw a punch using their shoulder and body like men do, or hit with some hard object, that is a whole different level and may justify hitting back.
Well if a woman slaps a man and man slaps her back (equal force) is that domestic violence still? Sure the man is stronger but did he abuse his strength advantage?
Women are NOT justified to hit men “out of frustration” any more then a man is justified to hit a woman “out of frustration”. Especially if “gender equal” 2024. But this double standard is something a lot of women don’t want to acknowledge and/or give up.
Yes there was time many decades ago where a woman could slap a man “out of frustration”. Back then it was supposed to be tolerated by men more because women were “delicate emotional creatures”. But women also had fewer opportunities and privileges back then. They were much more dependent on men. So (gentle) men in turn were expected to tolerate her occasional emotional instability.
But then feminists came along and wanted “equality” but conveniently glossed over certain societal privileged women have long enjoyed.
Nevertheless, I think if their hits which are typically on your chest or on your shoulders, don't hurt and don't do damage then don't his back. If you do anything, grab her hands, pull her over your knee and give her a light spanking. You may get away with that, cannot get away with hitting her back, anymore then you can get away hitting a child back. The difference is strength and power is too great.
If a woman slaps you, it is best to just block and your reflexes should be good enough to do that. If not than slapping her back with less force may be appropriate. She wouldn't expect that. In public, people believe the woman can't hurt the man so he not allow to hit back. If it is not in public, people will believe her and not believe you unless you are clearly injured like if she hit you with a golf club.
It is like that in the animal kingdom. The males just parry attacks by the females. The male Alpha wolf may allow the angry bitch to try to bite his shoulder.
@Kelley1 once again there was a time years ago where men would tolerate a woman slapping them. But given what’s changed in society that’s no longer tolerable.
I grew up seeing mother take full advantage of this bullsh*t double standard. She not only slapped my dad but did much worse including kicking him and hitting him with objects. And the one time my dad shoved her to get her off him she screamed victim about “her husband beating her”.
This one hits a very deep nerve with me. In fact it’s one of the main reasons I haven’t had a direct conversation with my mother for several years. It’s her disgusting hypocrisy. She raised me to “never ever hit a woman” and she in turn was doing this bullshit to my dad. She never apologized or owned for her crap either which infuriated me ever more. She also has the nerve to tell me to be a “good role model” to my siblings and the same time was a horrible female role model herself.
So f*cking lay off giving women “a pass” for hitting men. Some will do it intentionally actually wanting a man to hit them back so they can cry “victim.” There is a lot of very real hypocrisy.
The far-right wanting to put women in the kitchen and making them their sex slaves because they are below minimum low effort mediocre incel men who can't get laid. They want the state to give them a girlfriend.
Bias in what way? That most cultures don't want us free! Want us hidding under clothes. Hidding out face and hair?
Not sure if it's 90 percent but yeah most guys have a grudge on girls in some way.
So their qualifications for "equality" are soo extreme no country on earth meets it.
If demographic trends of the countries closest to meeting their standard continue as they have since moving in that direction. No country on Earth will EVER meet their qualification for 'equality'.
I guess equality means no future for said country where women act like men rather than doing the indispensable work for being mothers and wife.
In the USA I'd say it is around 75% to 80% are bias against men, including constant discrimination against men.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that asia and the middle east ruined the numbers of western civilization
This figure is basing it off of salary and poltiical positions. You can't just look at the raw data for these things and conclude that it is proof of bias because there are countless other factors that determine this.
When you rule out all other possible factors that it could be, of course you're going to get a figure as absurdly high as 90%.
Women deserve a voice because women are human beings. Kelley1 I’m happy you made your voice heard by bringing up this topic, God Bless You! Stay Strong!
Yes and no.
I think more people recognize that women can be victims of sexual assault etc, but a lot fewer people agree with the present movement and some of the people involved today because of how they package and market it.
The bias against women is the direct result of the behavior of many women, and feminism. What do you expect?
Not exactly. That is imposed by a particular religion or religions and it is in response to a belief that without that women will act out sexually and be unfaithful to their husbands or to men in general. Since this is done by religions before any of this ever occurs there is really no basis for it. The religion involved states that it is God's will, but in reality it's the fear of women's behavior that drives this.
Wait so over 40% of women are biased against women?
Women started the "war on women".
And, 86% of statistics are completely made up.
From the department of making shit up so women can feel like victims.
If they don’t make up their own issues they’d have no reason for feminism to demonize men.
It is just a cultural fact. Culture can change itself, but that change takes time and some are not willing to wait.
Religious fanaticism which often leads to misogyny.
Yes, and all 90% of it is because of feminism
How stupid! 50% of people ARE women!
