It's a decently long video but you can skip ahead to some of the testimonials of the citizens or government workers who feel hampered by the federal government right now.

Yes and no. I think it's the same as New Orleans after Katrina.(Except the disarming of citizens and crime wave) You could attribute half of it to poor federal response. I'd say the other half to not wanting to touch it at all because of how fucked it usually is.

From what I've heard that's where North Carolina is, like they had zero planning or preparedness. Likely they blew the federal funds they had for that the same way New Orleans did too. Hell, we just got finished blowing 20 years of FEMA subsidizing our city to accomplish absolutely nothing.

Difference is Bush had FEMA funded, and the scale of Katrina was unprecedented for them. I made some money off that, and wonder if it'll be the same with the contractors and wasted money for this circus. Without funding, though there are plenty of people with disaster experience, few have the luxury to show up without getting paid.

Not incompetent, planned. From what I've heard, people are being threatened if they help or rescue other people. If you try to give people food or water, the supplies are confiscated by FEMA. I think it's because they want the disaster area to remain a disaster area to keep people from voting Nov. 5th. This gives Harris a better chance at winning that state.

I just toured the damage in Erwin, TN. I am terrified there is such sparse response. A large segment of the interstate is covered with mud, rocks, and debris. The flood waters carved a large swatch of the hillside out. I saw mostly state troopers and local law enforcement. The local volunteer fire department was busy. I did not see FEMA or any federal troops. This is terrifying.
