Women are told they need a career and we encourage them to be more selfish and self interested and ‘independent.’

We currently don’t have enough children being born. Who’s gonna look after us as we get old? Who’s gonna be the next doctors/politicians? Really bad for the economy.

Being equally the same as women is boring as I don’t get attracted to someone who is as ambitious as me or like me….. it’s a personality clash.

Why do we need to be the same when we are not the same? Our life goals have always been different and you can’t change that otherwise you die out.

India, Russia and China (more patriarchal societies) seem to get it right. They will outcompete the whole west.

Fully agree. It's actually bad if women are successful because then they have more choices and opportunities which means they won't be forced to settle for some guys. What happens to those poor guys that women can side step? If women have these choices and opportunities that means that some guys will just not get picked. They'll be losers.

Also the guys that do get picked might not be able to trap a woman in a relationship and she'll be successful enough to move on and find somebody better. It's not as stable as it was in the fifties where women would be settled and not able to move on or would have to settle for guys that might not usually get dates.

The new system is awful for these poor "losers" who get passed over. It's a terrible system that's been created. No empathy involved. More choices for women is a terrible thing at the end of the day.

Less power, less success and less choices for women ends up benefitting everybody better in the long run, I personally feel. More choices is always a bad thing.

Well I also believe that more men should be concerned not only with women birthing children but also in women's sex lives as well. Here in the United States one political party is very very concerned with women's sexual habits to what has been described as a "creepy intrusive and obsession" but I personally think that that's good ole hogwash.

I think more attention on it is necessary and more freedoms should stay afforded to men and less freedom for women. Can you really trust a woman to know what's good for her? We probably should be treated as pets and have our decisions made for us. Safer that way.

The declining birthrate has nothing to do with empowering women. Its a combination of late stage capitalism and birth control. Previously people sort of did not have a choice, have sex meant having kids. Today we are in a much better position to decide when we have kids.

As for capitalism, its just a fact that people are overworked and not in a good state both mentally and financially to have kids

Russia has also a low childbirth rate with a bad long-term outlook, amplified by their war losses. And I am not sure that the Indian population and societal developments should serve as a model for us.
