Is this song female empowerment then?

Those are the kind of chicks you fuck in the ass,
not the ones you take home to mom n pop.
"Men rap about sex and their dicks a lot without complaint" not true, i won't listen to that garbage either.
@JesterRose: You don't have to listen to it. Yet, that doesn't mean that rap fans general complain about it when it happens.

and on that topic, stop encouraging it. Girls like Cardi B are a big problem, not saying we should censor her, but it should be known that she's a bad influence on society lol
but she's a crooked politician like Biden.
she laughed at black men when locking them up for carrying a bowl of weed then laughed on an interview when asked if she ever used to smoke weed and if she feels bad about sending those men to prison.
I would say popularizing these kinds of songs as far as making a kids bob versions is much more about indoctrination to an over-sexualized culture and cardi's quick easy buck than empowerment
Doesn't have to be a conspiracy. It's happening naturally because social media has made sexual themes so easily accessible and abundant. Entertainment media follows trends. If sexual themes selling becomes extremely popular, media caters to that audience. The fact that "that audience" has reached the point of including children on trends with something THAT overtly sexual is troubling. Hypersexualized media geared towards children existed but was not nearly this widespread, easy, and obvious in the 90s. Phht I remember easily finding work arounds to the joke that is "parental locks" when I was in early middle school and parents are giving children phones and tablets younger than that.
It also doesn't help that man-children and woman-children don't realize or care about the impact the media they make and spread has on younger generations with access to that same media. They just want their 2 mins of viral fame. Tik-tok, tumblr, and twitter are the biggest examples in last 10 years that I can think of.
And then there's me, who got paid 20% less for doing the exact same job as the girl we hired last year. She actually told me how much she makes and I in return told her how much I did for doing the exact same thing as she did.
Where I "live" such things go practically unpunished by the law. This is the corrupt and poor east, where specialists do the outsourced type of work.
Why should it matter if it is a girl? If she meets the criteria then there’s no problem. Granted, most women will not but that should not be a reason to exclude the few outliers who are qualified and genuinely interested in that type of labor.
You're reply reminds me of the flock to sex work on Onlyfans and subsequent supply/demand catastrophe that ensued.
Lets just say it's literally the easiest way for women specifically to make money and yet the great majority of Onlyfans creators are still poor, whiny, and claiming to be victims.
Eh I consider it detriment when you make kids bob versions of these kinds of songs and children start idolizing this behavior.
I looked up the unofficial Kids Bop version. I think it might be more dangerous to children than the original, just because we can't afford to have kids coming up that cheesy. lol Kids will gravitate to things not meant for them sometimes, but that's life. There are things out there that are intended for grown people, and with a bit of luck kids just won't understand the content, or will separate the sound that they like from the actions talked about in the song. That's a question of teaching kids about life though. It doesn't do any good to hide life from them. Child starts listening to WAP, maybe it's time to have "the talk". Just my take on it.
But as far as just female empowerment, I don't think it's good or bad. It's just a song. If young women are drawn to the message of the song and they want to be like that when they're grown, that's their choice to make. That's a part of empowerment. Nobody gets to make that choice for women anymore, but WAP didn't really influence that. I think if you're talking allowing women to be just as comfortable sexually as men, then you're probably looking at Madonna or someone like that as far as musical influence on culture goes. Maybe even somebody further back, but she's the first one that comes to mind.
Same with men, feminists who whine about being oppressed because they claim they can't have the freedoms men do, don't seem to realize that men who are overly sexualized whores are generally not very "honorable" or "marriage material" either.
@jarofawesome You're right. An honorable or culturally celebrated man should not be just some kind of playboy.
Right? There shouldn't be forced quotas to meet in any industry. Let women choose what fields they want to be in on their own. Wage gap is just women on average choosing lower paying jobs over higher paying ones.
Ex. Choosing to work at a daycare instead of be a Garbage man.
Payscale
-Daycare $7.95-$14.60
-Garbage collector $10-$29
I mean just some logic or common sense and you would realize there is no wage gap because if there was companies would only hire female workers...
?
Ah, you must be one of those that don't read comments. I was agreeing with you dummy.
"Wage gap is just women on average choosing lower paying jobs over higher paying ones." = Wage gap is made up because it's based on faulty information (i. e. women choose naturally lower paying jobs on average than men so the "average" salary appears lower but isn't)
@jarofawesome i was agreeing with you too silly lol my last comment was for the one dislike i got from a girl lol
