Dictator or Venezuela changed the date of Christmas. Thoughts?

In accordance with a decree by Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro, Christmas began there on October 1. A Christmas tree has been erected in the main square in Caracas, but residents of the crisis-ridden country are in no mood to celebrate, media reported.

Is the purpose of this simply to distract the public opinion from the economic crisis, or do you think there is more to it?

So explain to me why you're going to ignore a person that has done a lot for you including helping you with your homework, learning about your culture, making sure you're happy, and going as far to defend you when people have said some pretty mean and nasty stuff. But when someone asks you to talk and try to work things out you simply want to ignore them and not give them an explanation and wants that person to seem like they're the bad guy. Oh and explain to me that when a person is basically bending over backwards you don't give a crap that they are bending over backwards and you seem to get a rise that you have made them cry but they keep forgiving you time and time again and have made sacrifices for you. Explain that to me please and thank you and why you believe that's okay to ignore a person that has done so much for you please and thank you.

Dont care. Christmas is already celebrated on different days in different countries and the decision was always a political one. This is nothing new and not worth my attention.
