Today is Presidents Day. Should it really be a Holiday?

So this is just another Holiday that the government gets off. Should it be a Holiday? Just for Them?

It's what one wants to make of it. Sure, government offices and banks are closed, but some businesses give their employees the day off. I gave mine off today. Restaurants and retailers probably don't want to miss out on sales to people running around on a day off, so they're open.

The only thing i like about today is 12X points at the casino! Fck wish i was there! But i’ve been to the casino twice this month and really dont need to go a third time 😂 Especially considering i just played back $500 worth of profit/winnings

I had to work today. When I worked for the state I had all these holidays off. Patriots Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Martin Luther King day, and St Patricks day. I dont get any of these days off where I work now. It sort of sucks.

I think here were separate Washington and Lincoln birthday holidays back when it mattered. To common citizens President's say is more obscure than Valentine's.

It's been a holiday since the Revolution. This is because celebrating Washington's birthday was a way say "Fuck you, King Charles III".
