Im being hella honest brother. When you have a child you must be willing to dedicate 10000000% of your life to that child. Its not something you “try and see if you like it” no. You MUST be READY to commit your life to another person, and make your life about them. You must be willing to put aside your own mental health, for that person.
I am not capable of doing all those things and i realize that. I realize how much i can, and cannot mentally handle.

How many times has there been reports of pit bulls ripping up children their owner's or someone else? Yet the willful ignorant will maintain oh they are so gentle so nice and would never do anything like that. And then there is another victim. And I guarantee you there is a lot more cases on those in the headlines than there are children going after their parents.

As for your attitude towards animals, this is very likely a misdirecting of your maternal instincts probably because of some anti-human propaganda in your upbringing. That is just assuming you grew up in certant sub-cultures in theses united States, It is difficult to say without knowing you, but that seems quite likely given you have previously said your siblings are of the same opinion.
It is quite likely that if you did end up having a child you might find your maternal instincts towards animals quickly directed towards your child.
That you are determined never to find out is unfortunate.
@monorprise i had a great childhood. I don’t need anything traumatic to happen to me, to decide how i want to live my own life. Makes sense? I always had this thinking since i was a child myself. Never wanted kids even growing up it has never been a future goal or priority. Just saying. Its not everyones desire. Not everyone is meant to be a parent.

@monorprise i also suggest you google Bridget bardot. She had a child and never felt love towards it. She never felt that “maternal” love for the child. She never even wanted the kid. This was back in paris in the 1930s and she was engaged and there was no contraceptives available and she fell pregnant, didn’t want it and after she had the child she actually gave full custody to the dad and left. Talk about “maternal instincts”😂
