In the media Roe v. Wade being overturned and some states having restrictions is portrayed as being SO BAD, like this is a universally accepted negative thing... even so-called "pro-life" politicians water down what they say, or are afraid to touch it...

No, we've let the radical pro-abortion people set the narrative on focusing on extreme things like IDF, or not being able to get care when someone's life is in danger, etc... that it is shifting the entire focus.

If you make it about being Pro-Life with exceptions for maternal life, rape, and incest... And yes, I understand the last two examples an innocent life is being punished, but the percentage of the total cases is very small... you'd still eliminate the VAST majority of abortions... so yeah, I'd take that in a heartbeat, and I think you get a majority for that if you make the case very clearly and don't let the BS distract from it.

to be fair, a lot of pro-life politicians aren't well versed on the topic even though they're far superior in terms of economy and security. this gives pro-abortion politicians the avenue to spew bullshit lies and propaganda about doctors denying treatment or pregnant women bleeding out in parking lots

there's also the fact given that pro-abortion politicians are currently in charge and are weaponizing the authorities to go after pro-lifers, big tech silencing their free speech, FBI agents arresting them under false charges

abortion is murder. period. no ifs, ands or buts about it and given the way pro-abortion activists be acting, it's obvious pro-choice is just pro-abortion. nobody is whining about losing the choice to own a slave or the choice to view illegal porn. deep down people know these things shouldn't be choices but abortion? yeah it's just obvious people want to fight for something they wish to do, not something they wish to have a choice on
