The economy was not that great when Trump became President. He presided over what could have been the best economy in history if it was not for the Covid shutdown. It was in such great shape that after the lockdowns were lifted there was an unprecedented "V" shaped recovery. Biden was given a strong economy and 1.4% inflation and he drove the economy off a cliff. Prices skyrocketed seemingly overnight and the stock market plummeted.

President Trump will have his work cut out for him.
