Because unfortunately, that's not an option. Too much of Palestine (pretty much of Arabia, with the exception of Oman, which doesn't give a fuck) doesn't WANT peace with Israel still existing. What Netanyahu's doing now is basically a last-ditch attempt to beat them into submission, since the only alternative is genocide. It's awful- but that's the reality of war.

Palestine. Theocracy, no real women's rights, sexual violence is common, honor killings are common, lgbt people are killed without exception and ruled by a literal terrorist organization made up of smaller terrorist cells. Not to even touch on what they did to Israeli civilians and tourists.
