If Putin deploys any number of North Korean troops in Ukraine it's an indication to thd Ukrainians and the west that they should push harder. America is still technically at war with North Korea. I don't see it as a Murphy's law situation anymore than if Iran deployed troops to donbass. There's no reason that troopsfrom North Korea or Iran would change the situation in Ukraine other than the Russians having extra troops.

China isn't going to invade Taiwan militarily at least. They have the capability but to succeed the Chinese military would be devastated as would Taiwan and success isn't guaranteed. The Chinese want Taiwan whole, it's skilked educated people, industries etc just like with Hong Kong. The only way China would invade Taiwan and be successful is if there was some sort of natural disaster that devastated the island.

Israel is going to punish anyone attacking them by taking away their land. Iran is going to suffer a major blow to their industry or military capability soon.

I think a White House spokesman has commented on this several times. The administration is monitoring things. They said they would consider it a significant escalation. Personally I think this is a sign of weakness for Putin and Russia... they need the help of NK to defeat a tiny country like Ukraine? Russia is a paper tiger. The only real concern for the west are the nukes. I sometimes ponder if its time for NATO to call Putin's bluff and really come to Ukraine's aid.

It is time to make peace with Russia, but I don't see that as being possible unless trump gets in. kamala won't do it.

I don't see it as russian weakness, I see it as they are securing what they've taken. Russia has taken all the battle areas that were in question last year. Now they face winter and will be holding lines. then start pushing again in spring if need be, but I suspect with trump, they might draw a line. Why? Why would anyone comment on it? The US intelligence reports they are unsure of the numbers of the mobilization, whether it's uniformed serviced, "mercenaries", or a mixture of both.

There have been unsubstantiated reports about NK officer deaths and despite nk government reports that it could be true that doesn't really mean anything. It's a small amount of troops added to a massive fighting force in a ground battle of attrition on the Donbass.

Nk troops are legitimately not relevant to any military movement. They are not good at anything and in reality it is a "good training ground" for a force that's done nothing for ~70 years.
