Some people are fortunate and don't have very much adversity in their lives and really never have. Some how they escaped from it.
I am the opposite. If something bad is going to happen, it will find me and track me down and there I am again with problems that I didn't create.

A close friend of mine once told me that I am the only person she knows that doesn't even have to leave my house and "shit" happens to me. And it's not just every now and then. Oh no! It's constant almost all of the time.
So, go figure 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yeah. Many times bad things happen to good people. We all have a path that has been unintentionally hand picked for us. That’s our own unique and individual experience that we each all are entitled to. It’s hard and unfair and crapy being a good humble person and having to constantly endure hardships while watching others have their paths that are inevitably different and again, unique.

When we are spiritual when we find pieces and parts of our self to make our puzzle become one and we want everything right everything perfect and it heads that direction then all of a sudden everything falls apart

And we feel like we're being punished we feel like God is making it hard on us but it's not that at all

We have to look at it a different way it's hard because all of a sudden it's a learning lesson it's something that we have to go through that we've chosen to go through to prove to ourselves that we can make it through it it's a challenge and that's the way you have to look at it it's not bad luck it's a challenge to prove to ourselves who we are and how strong we are and we're going to go through them each and every day until we can become one with self one with others and one with this universe our God our body our Temple we are at a point in time and in life to where we have to go to another level and this is when this happens it's like we're jinxed but we're not is ourselves telling ourselves it's time to grow it's time to take this challenge and become and go to another level of life and understanding

So I got told that very same thing this week. Sometimes being nice is like a kick in the teeth. Firm example... so this last Tuesday my relationship ended. For a whole week I was down and pretty low. But then he calls me up Monday wanting to talk. He was fired from his job and I was trying to encourage him "as a friend" at that point that he would be ok.

I left his bday was Wednesday I went out of my way to bake him a cake and had decided to give him the presents that I almost sent back. Thinking that maybe would cheer him up. No matter what I felt I shoved it aside for his. Well he was in a hurry said he was going job hunting. Now I'm not stupid but this guy was dressed up in a cowboy hat and boots. "Job hunting" ok. So I left after 2 minutes if that. He said he would call me. This is at 10 I the morning 730 that afternoon rolls around and I get a text thank for the cake. My daughter and grandkids loved it. I was like he really didn't want to wait for me out of respect going out of way to do all that. So for I sat my self up for failure. 1 we had already broken up. Should have never responded that day he called. 2 I thought I could cheer him up and be the bigger and nice person no matter what I felt. So I'm going to stop with niceness and just look at it as lesson learned and move on. I hope this helps but life is what you make it. I have reevaluate all my choices on things hopefully this helps you.

I think it often is. God certainly never seems to be on my side about things. Even if I think it would benefit everyone. I'm at home, feeling bad - I have some ongoing health issues, which is a great addition to the anxiety and depression; and I feel really old, because of more issues. I can't do a lot of social stuff, and now I get overwhelmed quickly, so my social life has been cut down. No girlfriend in ages. There aren't very many single women, and because of my looks (and now other stuff) they don't want much to do with me past some small talk here and there.

Life is not cruel, life is an unconscious existence, life does not harm anyone, the events we encounter in life make us sad and happy, it has nothing to do with life, describe life as a ship, you are just a passenger on the ship, you will encounter many storms on this journey, you will know that these storms have nothing to do with you, storms will always happen. If life is a ship, you will know that the storms that arise have nothing to do with the ship. What is important is what you do in the face of these storms. These storms are not yours. Always write this in your mind and take refuge in God. God loves you and is with you every day and every moment.

No it's not always cruel. Things will change for you for the better. When I'm feeling like this I force myself to look at things around me and find good things. If I'm in public and I interact with a stranger, I do my best to be nice and make someone smile. I'll do a good deed for someone else in the smallest sense. For some reason these small things start to attract positive stuff back. Try it!

Some people just never have luck in life it's how we see the outcome.

On the flip side there is always someone out there who is truly suffering, think a North Korean for instance living in absolute fear or children of grooming gangs etc there is no happy outcome for them, those are the forgotten about and the cruelty they experience.
