I've been watching you lot on the run up to the election, which I may add seems to be a permanent thing for you people, every day is campaign day. Take a bloody break.

And what's with constantly trying to own the other side? It's like watching 5 year olds going, "na na na na na na I'm the king of the castle.." it's one step away from sticking your fingers in your ears and blowing raspberries. Do we really need need to make millions of memes and YouTube videos? Why you so obsessed with stirring the pot?

And why's everyone so nasty and full of hate? The language uses isn't very nice is it? Over here we refer to the opposition as the right honourable gentleman on the right/left and not as a libtard or Republicunt, and one certainly does not accuse them of lying, more that they are mistaken or misinformed. You lot seem intent on dehumanising each other, that's how genocides start you know.

And stop worshipping politicians like God's, no other civilised country does this? It makes you look like a Banana Republic on the brink of civil war. Fawning over your leaders like infatuated 12 year old girls at a boy band concert just makes you look ridiculous on the world stage.

Isn't it time you stopped villifing each other, stopped labelling everything a left/right issue to to demolished with gusto, showed some dignity and grew up.

But we are a Banana Republic on the bring of Civil War. This morning out of curiosity, I counted the GDP of solid Red states and it was over $9 Trillion annually which would make it clearly the number 3 economy in the world, near double of the current number 3, Germany.

You have to understand that this is a true schism here. There are two very different and incompatible paths forward for the country. I say incompatible because no one seems to bridge the gap. I remember Biden’s Inauguration speech where he said he would bring us together. The very next day he was calling the Republicans Governor of Texas a moron, and as it turned out the Governor was 2 years later proven right. It starts at the top. Harris is now calling Trump Hitler and his voters fascists because we hold different views that they are violently opposed to. I could expand on this last sentence if need be around Fascism and void between left and right but it would take a lot of posts.

I believe that Identity Politics hammered on by Obama to win his second term when the economy was so bad that no other President won a re-election with those types of numbers. That was the gasoline in the fire that has been fanned by cancel culture, calls of racism, and the zaniness of today’s world. This is real, not antics, the division is wide and deep.

There are over 330 million of us, but definitely quite a few who think going on social media and message boards to "discuss" politics will influence people or otherwise do any good. To them I say just shut up and vote. Funny thing is people as a rule aren't out and about discussing politics in person, they save it for the keyboard. My husband and I don't get into political discussions, and we don't even know where each other stands on politics because we never make it a topic of discussion - we take it to the voting booth.

When politicians start doing the shuffle, a certain segment of the population feels encouraged to join in. We all are subjected to 12 years of "How America was founded and How America works " only to find out, when we graduate, that we were taught an ideal. An ideal that seems to be losing ground as principles and ethics are challenged by cash. It brings out the worst in us as we are invited to choose sides and throw stones. I thank my Creator or Creatrix,, that I am on the autism spectrum and am a loner. I am perfectly happy not being part of the crowd. American's need to remember their education and remember what they have witnessed. All judgement can't be hinged on a bank account.

I agree that all the politics is tiring. It doesn't help that most of the news networks spend 95% of their time talking politics. But there's a lot at stake here.

The Democrat party and the mainstream Republicans (the RINO's) are in bed with the globalist elite of Europe. They've vowed to have a one-world government by 2030 so we're in a fight for our lives. This has been in the works for many decades, if not centuries, and this is the BIG PUSH. The globalist agenda got set back 4 years because of Trump so they will do ANYTHING to win.

I think the system is set up to take advantage of human nature. People can't see past their immediate gripe or emotional reaction to see why they're in this situation. Some can but it's just never enough to make a difference. It's like those videos of boxes on conveyor belts that just stay stuck in place.

I'm grateful that our political system is better. It's honestly a miracle that it was able to develop this way over history and there was never some powerhungry person who derailed the whole thing.

What Trump did to millions of American women wasn't very nice to make a gigantic understatement... Some anger and resentment are the least of what he deserves in return.

When the powerful abuse the powerless, they deserve blow-back. Are we supposed to take it with a smile on our faces? Many of our conservative politicians no longer conduct themselves with any civility or decorum, either. So why should pundits and ordinary citizens treat them with respect?

You can't accuse the left of fawning over any Democrat, all they do is bash their own kind. Bernie is an Independent, he ran twice but got steam rolled by the DNC, they'll never let him near power. So we do not "fawn", like the conservatives do. We're perpetually disappointed.

We get excited over anyone who says they'll stop the abuse, cruelty, and tyranny. It's a low bar, but a lot of them can't seem to cross it.

With the difference in morals and how harmful the Democrats have been to American citizens, I think a civil war would be reasonable.

America is at a crossroads. The country that we grew up in is on the verge of disappearing and is becoming a crime ridden banana republic. The government is being displaced by a a fascist totalitarian government. Democrats want to impose taxes on unrealized capital gains which will result in the end of private property. Their political opponents are already imprisoned and the government law enforcement has been weaponized to go after the rest of us. A lot is at stake.
