We already know we are. But why… ”I don’t need research…I just see the obvious.” Literally have this argument with someone on gag twice a day.

They say the US school system is failing but in truth the school system is doing exactly what it's supposed to. The school system was set up orginially to give kids just enough education to prepare them to work in factories and to act as a babysitting service so both parents could work and pay tax. Schools are also there to indoctrinate kids in whatever the state deems important in the national intrest. In the early part of the 20th century right up to the 70s in was patriotism, pledge of allegion one nation under God etc and that was for the purpose of mass conscription for wars the US might fight and to support wars. Now it seems they want kids that are sedentary and placide. Kids today are generally fat, stupid and lazy.

Here's my opinion, but it's a little mean to the feeble. I just saw this news reel, and I swear, I am not kidding, Trump said his indictments were all a lie and it was a slam against him because he's running for president, lol. I think his supporters are delusional, and apparently, I'm not the only one. There were so many comments from other viewers calling them stupid and saying they would believe anything. I try not to insult people's intelligence and I hate calling people stupid. I really do, but the proof is al there, the facts are there, and yet, deny, deny, deny. I have never seen so much denial ever! This man could tell his supporters the sky is purple, and they would believe it because it came from his mouth.

When I was in college, one of my educators said "Once there is proof, there is truth." What little respect I had left for that man, I lost when he refused to transfer his power over after the last election and overturn it. He should be ashamed of himself. No true American does that. It's disgraceful.

No human brain can tell the difference between information and misinformation, just from superficial exposure. And while the latter doesn't make someone more dumb, what it does do is halt their progression towards intelligence by failing to build upon a world view that is consistent with the actual world. Normally, inconsistency would bother most people and so they would eventually reject it, but people who profit enormously from the plebs believing misinformation have figured out that rage and fear reliably prevent people from dwelling on those inconsistencies. So, they couple all misinformation with excuses to be mad or afraid or otherwise help the listener feel like they are a constant victim. This induces an addiction to subjective information that further reinforces that inconsistent world view and addiction is no joke. Rage is inevitable in an addict when their supply runs low. But when the thing the addict is addicted to is rage, itself, there's just not really anything that can be done except wait 100 years so all the mad people die off and hope future generations learn from us, as we failed to learn from all the mad people who united to try to impose their false narratives on the world in every authoritarian and Christian nationalist regime in history..

our country is starting to look like the movie dumb and dumber, with each side represented by one of the characters. the only smart ones are the woman in the movie which plays the role of the immigrants and people that don't watch tv and participate, just move forward.

people are stuck in their ways and beliefs and fixated on their ideas. if they depart one idea, it means the whole thing unravels. they won't do that.

lets hope it doesn't turn to muskets again... or worse. probably all intentional division.

note the generalization that occurs as we all think be it racism, or sexism.. and now politicism. all generalizations that are false. most aren't.

the answer is... some don't trust those in power to be fair and impartial. It's not far fetched given how they think and communicate at times.

There are dumb people everywhere, they don't generally get elected. To be fair, Americans are being bombarded with propaganda about the pretend "Deep State", and how the institutions and people of government are utterly corrupt (ironically the least corrupt parts; the Senate couldn't even bring itself to convict Trump for Jan 6).

When election numbers are that close, we should have a national runoff election. That would solve this issue. Why is it that people "petitioning their government for a redress of grievances" is a crime even though it is a constitutional right? Why were the capitol police blocking access of the people to our congress? Maybe trump lost... maybe he won and got scammed. But even if he did loose, we have the right to petition our government. Even if it is dumb and he lost. A huge number of people voted for Donald Trump. It is like a sports player saying "we won that game" after they lost due to the decision of a referee. The fans are angry and they want answers. But unlike a sports game, we have to suffer for 4 years to start over again.

Because we have started to accept the extremes of politics, movements, and how people act. There is no more compromise, there is no more "what's best for the citizens," there is no more "we don't have the money to pay for it," etc.

I’ve explain to you my argument on why the election was rigged, but it wasn’t stolen like these people believe. If the mainstream media covered Obama and Biden the way way they treated republicans we wouldn’t have a 2 term president ever again.

I think we are. I will turn 18 in September and will vote every year. I will carefully evaluate every candidate regardless of party, but this whole Trump nightmare makes me wonder about the average IQ of our country

Obama was born in Kenya. Somebody that hates America as much as he does was definitely not born here. And Trump did really win the 2020 election. Who would vote for a senile old hack that ran on a platform of raising taxes, sending your job to China and taking away your guns. I’m not a maga freak, but honestly after seeing the Russia collision was just a hoax, the fbi and doj are forgetting Hillary and Joe and going just after Trump, there’s really no reason to believe it wasn’t rigged, since the fbi and doj would be the one to investigate and prosecute. They aren’t dumb, they have lost faith in their government and trust is ruined. That can eventually lead to violence. Whether right or wrong, it needs to be addressed. Biden isn’t the guy to address it and further, many people feel Biden should be investigated, including myself. And no, I don’t think the election was stolen.
