I've seen many young teen guys and girls feeling sad about being lonely or not having a romantic partner. Or trying to find someone to love them and start a relationship as soon as they can. Or they want to experience thing that are meant for adults (like alcohol) Why are they so fascinated about being an adult and don't enjoy being a kid and enjoy their adolescence. And the most common thing of considering themselves as highly mature and responsible to take decisions. What do you think is the cause of this? Do you think it is good for them to get mature so soon and not enjoy this age of being naive and innocent? Do you think it is okay for them to be sad about not have a romantic partner at such an early age even if they have a whole life ahead of them?
Because being a kid sucks. You're not allowed to do anything because parents these days are so over protective. It's not even something your parents have a choice over.
Give your kid too much freedom, people get worried they'll be taken away.
Was driving down the highway yesterday and saw a bunch of busses with kids on them and thought about how when I was their age on the same busses, I used to look out the window and think about being in my 20's and what would I be doing on the road that day.
When you're an adult you can do whatever you want. You can get a job, make money, start a business, place sports bets, get an apartment, buy your own food, find love.
Everything us up to you and you don't have to rely on anyone. The only person who can let you down once you're an adult is yourself. And that's part of why I hated being a kid
I wanted to grow up fast un my day too. We just didn't have as many avenues to debase ourselves. Our parents had more sense and werent afraid tonlay down the law. Well, most of them. Nowadays, parents don't want their kids to be mad at them. Like, what the heck? Half of parenting is just your kids pissed at you.
honestly i was kind of like that, and for me it was because all the cool kids in my class had those concerns. The girls would have full faces of makeup by the time they were in middle school, and kids would smuggle wine in there lunchboxes the whole thing was so stupid😭
Oh yes I forgot to mention the young girls full of make up. Why don't they understand that they have to do all that stuff for the rest of their lives but now they have time to be carefree and enjoy the life free from responsibilities
