What do you think of sharks and octopus as pets?

If sharks and octopus were gonna be kept as pets, it would be a smaller species and nothing big like the great white

You can keep both in a marine tank but as I understand it sharks need better quality water than regular tank fish. Both animals have the ability to interact with humans and will readily approach divers in feeding stations, are these 'tame' sharks pets?

Some folks like exotic pets, and I’m sure they do days upon days’ worth of research to make sure they’re caring for them properly. Wouldn’t be my thing but more power to them if they can afford it.

I had a pet shark for a while. I had him tied up in the back cove and used to feed him mackerel and herring. I kept him for about a week and let him go.
