If you didn't know the truth of Kamala Harris, surely the biggest one is Dick Cheney - you know, THE Dick Cheney - yes, that one - supporting a so-called Democrat. I haven't seen that endorsement, but I know about this stuff so it wouldn't surprise me. And even then, it still kinda does. But she is going to lead a very pro-war, very extreme government. So Dick Cheney supporting that actually makes a lot of sense.

Now of course, the asker is making some egotistical assumption that the biggest mindfuck *of all time* is both in his country, and in his lifetime. That's pretty self-centered. Presumably the Earth is the center of the universe for them, and they are the center of the Earth. We live in very extreme times indeed, so there probably are a few candidates for the most twisted political phenomena to be in our lifetimes, but still.

In recent generations, here are a couple really warped events that blow the above list out of the water:
- Anti Ballistic Missile systems, which violate the strategic stability of nuclear Mutually Assured Destruction
- People who still think 9/11 was what Bush said it was
- The vast majority of people, including young men who want to hook up with women, obeyed the Lockdown pretty much 100%, doing absolutely everything that the government asked them to do, *for two years*, even including having a needle with an unknown substance injected into their own personal bloodstream.
- The proliferation of Job Automation and AI - something that benefits absolutely nobody in the global population of employees, and blatantly threatens their entire livelihoods. Yet, nobody really seems to be saying "hang on a minute. Maybe we... *shouldn't*... allow job automation corporations to make robots to replace us in the job market. Maybe I actually want to keep making money." Instead, these morons actually think "well, it's going to happen, so I guess I should just accept it" - supposedly not understanding that the only way to guarantee that something will happen, is to say that it will and do nothing to stop it.

- Women keep forcing humans on the planet. They keep forcing humans on us as well, as the population explodes and competition for diminishing resources becomes ever more prescient. And, those new humans, the children, are facing a horrific future, in a world that has only got worse and worse with time. Yet there they are, younger women, still popping them out, giving birth everywhere like no one matters but them. That's a sad fact about female nature, but... that we are not TELLING THEM that this shit has to stop... or even just having that discussion as a society... I think that's about as warped as it gets.
- The war against Russia is going to start soon, masterminded by the US State Department and the UK, and when it happens, the government is going to bring back the monster that is Conscription. Our sons, brothers, partners, friends, cousins, associates, maybe even uncles and fathers, will be drafted into the killing machine. Yet nobody - parents included - seems to give enough of a shit about this prospect to resist the saber-rattling of the government towards Russia. Apparently they either haven't even thought that far ahead, or they genuinely don't give a shit about their 'loved ones' and the possibility that they could be sent, without knowing any better, into something similar to the Killing Fields of the First World War.
- There are so many more - in fact a significant proportion of most everything these days is a mindfuck. And there are so many throughout human history. So is Joseph Biden wearing a hat really that mind-blowing?
