Is Conservatism White?

Often times, it seems to be suggested that a Conservative is an uneducated White hick who lives in rural areas in America. And it also seems to be suggested that people of color are superior (both morally and intellectually) to Whites. If that's the case, there seems to be some issues:

1) I've heard that most people on earth are people of color and 2) conservative ideas are actually common around the world. In fact, our Western liberal/progressive ideas are held by a minority of the world population. Or so I hear. plus, I hear Conservatives outside of the US are even more deeply conservative than American Conservatives are. I'm not well travelled, so I don't know if these things are true, but I assume they are.

With that being said here are some choices you have to make: 1) Since holding conservative views supposedly makes one evil and stupid, then either A) you're claiming White nations are superior (making you a White Supremacist), or B) if people of color are superior, then this would mean you're stating that conservatism is superior, too. And 2) This would mean that most people on earth are technically White (including people from nations in Africa, which I hear are very conservative, making them Black-Skinned people that are [somehow] White at the same time). Or that holding conservative views (or any political views) has nothing to do with race.

Anyway, this post isn't to defend any particular political view. I'm just trying to point out how attaching a particular political view to a particular race is illogical.

You're falling into the trap of typical American pseudo-logic that says if you belong to a certain group you have to vote a certain way i. e. if your male you must vote reb, if your female you must vote lib. It's a flawed logic that is mostly used to mark people out and demonise them.

Sorry for the late reply. I've been busy. Anyway, I'm not falling into a trap. I already know that all sorts of people from various groups can vote all sorts of ways. And I'm aware that certain races tend to have certain voting patterns; I was attacking the idea that this means certain races are *supposed* to vote certain ways. I'm just asking why *other* people don't seem to understand that (or at least act like they don't). By the way, the idea that women tend to be more liberal is seems to be true. I've heard a youtube say that women are biologically predisposed to leftism, and in other places, i've heard studies that women worldwide tend to vote left. so this means that something in a woman's genes cause them to want to vote that way (not all women, though). but i don't know if this is true. you're a woman, so only you would know for sure.

Websters dictionary defines Conservatism as "a political philosophy based on tradition and social stability, stressing the importance of established hierarchies and institutions (such as religion, the family, and class structure), and preferring gradual development to abrupt change"
It mentions nothing a bout race or level of education.

Sorry for the late reply. I've been busy. Anyway, I know this already. What I was wondering is: why people portray this false image, then. I've seen this stereotype on sitcoms, and even hear it when people joke (they adopt a Southern drawl when they want to mock conservatives).

Anyway, in some sitcoms (well, it's been a while since I've actually watched a sitcom), a more conservative person seems to be portrayed as a toothless or brainless White hick from a trailer park. Or if it is a person of color, they're portrayed as a race traitor. For example, in the sitcom Black-ish (which is about a black family), one of the kids, Junior, decided to become a Republican, and his parents (or at least his mom, from what I remember) freaked out on him. So there's that.

Oh, I know. Across the world, I've heard that conservatives are even more deeply committed to conservatism than here in the US. And It's been said that the Republican Party has been steadily drifting Left, which seems to me to be true.
