When Governor of Minnesota he made it a refuge city for Transgenders. That in itself may not be bad. But what is bad is that his policy of giving sex changes to minors if your parents would not sign off on it. Then the State Government would take temporary custody of those minors so that they could have their change over their parent's objections. Now this is after it has been shown that a lot of transgenders wind up depressed or commit suicide. So, is Walz for protecting our youth, or is he for some weird agenda he has? This is the man you want to be VP, and with Harris? SMH

Beyond partisan rhetoric, here's an overview of Walz's gender-affirming care and LGBTQ+ legislative record.

In April 2023, Walz, who has been the state's governor since 2019, signed a Minnesota law aimed at protecting the rights of the LGBTQ+ community to access and receive gender-affirming health care—which can include a range of medical procedures and care such as surgery and puberty blockers—without intervention OF OUT OF STATE LAWS.

The law says court orders "for the removal of a child issued in another state solely because the child's parent or guardian assisted the child in receiving gender-affirming care in this state must not be enforced in this state," with many referring to this as a "Trans Refuge" law. It prohibits the extradition of out-of-state individuals for receiving legal case in Minnesota.

It also states if a child has been abandoned or their safety is at risk, or they are
unable to obtain gender-affirming care, the "court of this state has temporary emergency jurisdiction."

The month prior he signed an executive order reaffirming the right to access gender-affirming care in Minnesota, stating in a press release, "In Minnesota, you will not be punished for seeking or providing medical care. This Executive Order delivers the urgent action that our LGBTQ Minnesotans deserve."

In addition, Walz BANNED CONVERSION THERAPY FOR CHILDREN and vulnerable adults. Twenty-three states and Washington, D. C., have banned conversion therapy. Meanwhile, half of the United States have restrictions on gender-affirming care.

The issue is how they view this illness. They see it as denial of essential care. It is frustrating as you have a desperate person crying all over the place that wants to change genders. If you've dealt with children, you know how difficult they can be at times.

But, it's beyond demented.

Just to make sure I reinforce your views of liberals, I do endorse surgery for circumcision prior to 18 so at least I'm inconsistent and it fits your mold! 😂

I think kidnapping minors to give sex changes against the wishes of parents is wrong and will stop once the kids grow up and take the state to court over the mutilation of their genitals and the loss of their reproductive ability.

This is part of the reason I'm no longer a Democrat, they have gone off the deep end and attack and vilify everyone as evil monsters who don't agree with their BS. Kids go through phases which most of the time they grow out of as they get older which is why they should not be receiving irreversible chemicals and surgeries. If they want to make those changes as an adult, go ahead, your body your choice but don't force it on kids who will most of the time will grow up to regret it.
